Total Tools Wingfield reviews
30This place is a joke. Can never get what you want. So many times I have been here and end up going else where.located in a large industrial area and dont have stock.
Rang Steve today for a Milwaukee M18 Pruning saw with 8 inch bar. He hooked me up with a great deal, I told him I would be down in 20 minutes, I got a txt confirming my order, I arrived at the store, my new saw was waiting ready to go. AAA experience!
I bought a Michigan PPAR welding helmet on Australia Day 2022 and the filter cover cracked a couple of weeks later.
So I returned to the Wingfield store a couple of more weeks later with it as it's under warranty right? So I asked for either a replacement one or a refund only to be told how do we know U didn't drop or open it to hard by the franchise owner.
It's now 2mths later on and still no refunds or replacement. I will never buy anything from this store again.
Nearly 12mths on STILL NO RESPONSE FROM TOTAL TOOLS WINFIELD. U can stick Ur helmets where the sun don't shine.
Very helpful staff. Well stocked with tools. Supplies of consumables have improved and can order anything in due time.
Costumer service been great since I started shopping in this shop, they helped me with a warranty claim of a dewalt drill however it took them 4 warranty fixing claims and me having to argue with the guy who fixes the tools for them to actually get my replacement.
10/10 service I only went to buy boots and a pair of gloves, didn't expect to buy a 111 piece socket set and wrenches:) the price was too good to pass up
No one serving at the counter we ate too busy for this
One larger guy on a computer calling for help and no one coming
Horrible

I walked in, not 100% on what I was after, not prepared to get anything. Shane took the time to explain the pros and cons of the options, put in the effort, I walked out with a lighter pocket, a hand full of gear and happy about it.
Very helpful, I had to return a tool no question ask re help me with everything and got me a better tool. Thxs everyone that help.
Went to buy a Milwaukee head with brush cutter attachment for the $418 advertised.they had the two pieces in separate boxes instead of 1 box and said it would be over $600 to buy them because they are in 2 boxes instead of one.paid to order the same thing they had on the shelf that they apparently couldn’t sell me at the $418 price. Majorly frustrating
Genuinely shocked at how poorly I was treated by Steve and the team. Very rude to me over the phone and they were clearly in the wrong. I would not rely on this store at all, buyers beware. Terrible delivery times on online orders with zero after sales support.
There are plenty of other great options out there.
The name says it all Total Tools and you'd be a 'tool' if you don't check this place out serious for tradies or handyman
Great store with a large selection of power and hand tools. Prices are reasonable. Staff were friendly and helpful with my enquiries.
Not a reliable store. Poor quality service and advice. Condescending towards me when I'm asking simple questions. Go else where. Much better off.
I got the best service, nearly bought the wrong product! A worker there gave me assistance and assurance.
Helpful and KNOWLEDGEABLE advice on not only the products but also the process of using the products without over selling stuff that you don't need. I overheard a salesman in the next aisle telling a man a cheaper option than what he was told elsewhere.
Well stocked with tools. Supplies of consumables are limited, but can order anything in due time.
Living in Melbourne (Victoria) in Stage 4 lock down I called several Total Tools stores in Victoria only to find the three tools I was after (a DeWalt circular saw, a Makita Sliding Compound Saw and a Makita Jig Saw) we not in stock. I could go on back order but like every job I was in a bit of a rush!
I was pointed in the Wingfield direction where Tom took my call. Tom was immediately on the computer system and soon found all three tools which I was after. He then went on to up sell me in a higher spec of the Makita Sliding Compound Saw too.
Within 24 hours of the order being finalised Tom (and by that stage Brian - the Wingfield owner) has the tools with the courier and they arrived in Melbourne the following day.
AMAZING WORK GUYS!
Cheers - Mal
Decent car park.
Good service from the front end, asked if they stocked something and she was honest and admitted she didn't know off the top of her head but went out her way to look it up before i said anything (saved me time getting my phone out to check).
Fine prices, clearance section is fun, wish the clearance saved a bit more but I was happy nonetheless.
I'll be back.
