I found the guys at the store very helpful. One tool I wanted was custom-order only, so I ordered, then few days later I called to check ETA and got a clear and sensible explanation. Overall very helpful.

Don’t waste your time here. Good quality brands aren’t stocked on shelves frequently (all order in) but cheap brands are in an abundance. Highly recommend Sydney Tools over Total Tools.

Partner went there to purchase some new tools and has been a long time regular at other stores, was made to feel uncomfortable like maybe he was going to steal something maybe. Asked about a particular item, there own brand, and was abruptly and rudely told well we don't have it then eyeballed all the way out, very disgusting!

Don't bother trying to phone, as they don't answer. They also don't answer emails. Incredibly frustrating when you need to get hold of someone and can't physically go to the shop. Spend your money elsewhere.

Mixed customer service skills. One experience with a staff member is that they did not wish to abide by their clear ‘low price guarantee’ policy when I went in for a price match. Staff did not even bother to look at the terms and conditions to admit that they were in the wrong.

Had a blast experience with the staff there.manager Shane and Michael are very helpful of putting me a good deal. Very happy with the service.will definitely come back.

Totally disappointed

One of the staff member (an old guy) was very rude and said that the shop hasnt fitting rooms. So why is the shop selling working clothes if we cant try them? And in addition to that he charged me more than the normal price and didnt take time to refund me the difference with an excuse that they did a mistake about the pricing. I will never come there again for sure

Its about a month ago since i have given my tools for the service and repairs yet waiting for the response so they can tell me how much they charge and the staff needs to be educated on how to deal with the customers to b honest they are very rude

Ordered an item on line 6 days ago from thebarton store (100ks away), rang yesyerday and hasnt even left the store yet. If I can get a pallet of stuff from victoria in 2 days, why does it take so long to even get an order out the door in thebarton? Covid is no longer a good excuse for bad service. Not good enough.

Went in 8am this morning first customer of the day. Wanted to earn some MAKbucks. Was going to buy a 10 pce brushless combo kit.
Got told on entry where's ur mask. Told them i honestly left it in my work pants yesterday and do they have one I could use. Answer was $5

I walked out and spent $2200 down the road a Adelaide tools 35 mins later where they give out free masks. And are politely and not abusive to there customers.
Total tools. More like total flogs. Shopped with ya for 7 years. Never again.

Was yelled at for forgetting a mask. When I asked the rotund fella if they had any he said said we don’t just give em away mate! Went to Adelaide tools down the road and spent my $1500 on a beautiful new table saw

Good range, good service and knowledgeable staff. The only downside is sometimes delayed delivery of products on order

Not as good as the other total tool stores. They always seem to be low on stock and customer service seems lacking.

Try to call.three times put on hold was going to buy a uni viper mig welder but I think I will go elsewhere

Really good customer service!
Bought my first Nail guns there. They will match prices of Sydney tools.
They will do anything to make sure you keep coming back to them.

Purchased ego battery online, spoke to Ian and Dave at Thebarton store for advice prior, excellent service. Received battery in just over 24hrs. Great surprise as was expecting much longer wait time.

Hands down the best tool shop in Adelaide. Friendly and knowledgeable staff with a range second to none. I don’t bother and never will go anywhere else.

Worst place to buy tools.
Took 3 weeks waiting for a milwaukee impact wrench and still not arrive.

Great service and a huge range. The staff have always been very helpful and friendly every time i've been in the store.
