I'm writing this to give my gratitude to Steve at mount barker total tools. I walked in and was greeted with great customer assistance, I was after a milwaukee 10 piece set. Steve gave me nothing but exceptional advice and knowledge on the tools, gave me everything I needed to know to work the right way with the tools i was buying.
I walked out of the store with being so greatful to have such great service and advice. I will be continuing to buy all my tools from this store and if Steve is on he is my go to man.

I appreciate all the help.

First review. A way of dealing with something that I don’t actually agree with. However, having bought a $50 Router bit a few days ago and using it for 20 minutes, having it fail and damage my job, I drove up to Total Tools, expecting a simple changeover. They had one, but the manager Steve told me that they had to wait for instructions from their Carbitool rep next week. I said this is faulty and that I would like it replaced, that they could sort it with the rep. He stated that he wouldn’t do this. Repeatedly addressing me as “man”, (which I felt to be be less than respectful) rolling his eyes and eventually saying “do you want me to do this or not? ” in an unprofessional manner
I had a friend with me and he agreed that his “attitude” was very ordinary.
Complete lack of customer service and surely a $50 transaction isn’t worth losing a customer over.

Excellent service, the guy who helped me out was actually at lunch, but he still was genuinely happy to assist. Good range of tools as well.

Great helpful staff and huge range of tools at different price points. Good reward system based on yearly purchases and a bonus for your birthday. Plenty of parking.

Saw a DeWalt right angled drill extension on line. Didn't have in store. Bought a P&N nibbler along with other items totalling around $200.
I was asked if I was on their system and I said I'm not sure. Stupidly, when asked for my number to check I, gave it.
Few hours later I got SMS spammed by Thin Lizzy for Mother's Day specials.
The nibbler simply does not work so I now have to make a second trip to return it. It will be my last to any TotalTools shop.

I will not be purchasing anything from Total Tools due to the gutless withdrawal of advertising from 2GB. You need to know that you may lose as many customers as you think you will save when you take decisions like this
