Total Tools Lonsdale reviews
32The team at Lonsdale went above and beyond to make sure I got my order in time for Christmas. Excellent customer service from all staff involved including the very kind store manager.
Total Tools have a great array of tools and accessories. The customer service was fantastic.
I needed discs for my Makita 18V Grinder. Went to the Lonsdale store and spoke with Chris. A very helpful chap. Advised me on the best choice of blades and showed me a clamping devise for my grinder which makes changing a blade really
easy.
A big thank you to Chris
Best customer service I’ve had for a long time! Thanks for the different staff members who we dealt with, all of whom were friendly and willing to give advice.
First Time going here, staff were very helpful and knowledgeable, store was clean and products were easy to find.
Friendly staff and great services.
I found what I'm looking for with the help of the staff.
Was told by the staff member there, they dont do a refund on my product. The chisel end had popped off and was unuseable. The replacement would do the same thing, Its a bad design.only bought it a few weeks ago. After advising it is not legal to advise you dont do refunds on a product he said ill have to send it back to the manufacturer for them to decide, as if they wont say the same thing. I wont go to a store that wont honor a refund on my behalf for an unuseable product. Bunnnings would have no issues. Whats the point in going to a supposedly better store for half rate products and service.
The service i received yesterday was so far out of this world I was truly blown away. Steve is a truly an amazing staff member to have. I snapped my high pressure cleaning gun yesterday and he made sure before I left that the old matched the new for easy hook up. Even having to use all his muscles to undo a thread for me. I couldn't not say a big thankyou, it worked amazing today.
Thanks Steve
Helpfully staff, huge range of quality brands and products.
Great place to shop for tools.
Friendly service. Great range of Milwaukee tools and tools in general… from what I could tell anyway.
I used to go to total tools quite often. There was a man named Bruce that used to work there. Hasn't been the same since he left. I'm told now that's the on line price. I don't feel like a valued customer anymore. Wish they run the store like they used to. Some of the staff that's been there a long time have just lost interest. The owners need to give this store a good shake up. Double Bruce's pay & get him back. Was a great store, not anymore.
Massive range of tools and equipment. Never walked out empty-handed. Ever helpful and pleasant staff.
Quite frankly the best tool shop in Adelaide. Always helpful, always in stock, always well priced! They do know how to put on a great trade night also!
Say they price match, but they don't. Sydney Tools are cheaper often with free shipping but even paying for shipping cheaper than Total Tools.
Lovely staff and always 100% helpful. Have been going here the last few years and never had a bad experience.
Even if their understaffed and long waits they always let you know they will be with you shortly.
Been served by Howard many times, lovely guy always willing to help load things in my car especially when I have my young children with me making things a handful.
Couldn’t say a bad word ever about this place, this will always be “my” store. See you in the future!
Big selection, much more product than other total tools. All quality tools, if you want a tool for just one job than go to Bunnings, all the tools these guys sell are built for pros and will last.
The guys that work there are always helpful and ask what you are after as soon as you walk in

Total tools is one of my favourite places to go. Along with the other stores I've visited, it is the best place to shop for tools. Staff are A1, talkative and friendly. Most of them have used a fair amount of tools and know almost all the answers to your reasonable questions. Lonsdale stock quite a bit and usually will have what you're looking for. I love it, always keen to visit total tools.
Staff have no idea about the products they sell, what a waste of time having to go back to the store twice to get refunds on tools not fit for purpose.
