Gathered Markets were on and there are so many local businesses to support. So many gifts and treat ideas! I love supporting them, I would buy from ALL of them if I could, my wallet wouldn't be happy, but I would be!
It was a nice way to spend a Sunday.

According to what was explained to us, the building located in this courtyard is the barracks from which the first Australian soldiers left for war in 1914. The country is clearly marked by the losses suffered in this conflict. The cannon on display is believed to have been taken from the Russians during the Crimean War in 1853.

Mainly place to visit at fringe and festival time or during specific events. (The loud sometimes unruly 'locals' are friendly when you get to know them)

With my grandchildren, we had a ball. The ice skating was wonderful, we will go again. I found the qr codes to order drinks etc somewhat baffling so after several attempts we went for hot drinks elsewhere. The staff.were very friendly and helpful.

RSL State Office isn't the same RSL many contemporary vets are used to. They care about us, understand the modern soldiers issues and are willing to help. If you need help and don't know where to turn I urge you to drop in here and see the guys and gal's.

Interesting area around a part of Australia's military history. Visit the place, get a photo posing with the canons, when you are there at the right day/time you may be able to see our army excercise and march.

Walk the few steps down to the water,
make a tour on the Popeye (ship) or rent one of the other water fun vehicles, cross to the other side of the bridge to go on a Adelaide Oval tour.

You are at the TPG also only a few steps away from the Zoo, Botanic Garden, Parliament & SA Governor Houses, the Adelaide Mall, the Casino, the Entertainment & Festival area, and much more.

I'm looking forward to welcome you in Adelaide <3

The parade ground is a great and handy place to park, but access is restricted to the those on some sort of business with the organisations within.
Those organisations are the ones to give you access.
Surrounds have plenty of memorials dedicated to our past and present defence force personnel.

It was a get together with old friends which was brilliant. The atmosphere was great and of course the refreshments were cold. The bar staff were also very friendly and efficient. All in all, a great place to meet.

In memory of those who lost their lives, fighting for our Country. Gardens are well maintained. There are a few bench style seating available.

I only had a quick look but this is a magnificent place to respect and honour those who serve us and defend this wonderful country. I will return to have a better look inside the building

During its military life, was known as Torrens Training Depot and hosted the Adelaide University Regiment and 10th Bn RSAR. Also had the USI library.
