Tikkka N Talkk Indian Restaurant reviews
13 Part 1
We have eaten a lot of Indian food over the years and this would be the worst we have every had it was watery heaps of salt no flavour.
We had lunch menu to try this Indian restaurant, meat tender is about the only positive I can give.
Restaurant hadn't been cleaned
Part 2
Had a call from Tikka n Talkk Indian restaurant about the meal and going to try again on Tuesday.
Today meal was cooked with love.
Meal replaced wow what a difference, taste so different, enjoyable, not watery this time plenty of tender meat. Butter chicken was fresh and tasty. Vindaloo Lamb tasty but to my taste still salty but not as salty as last time.
Love Indian food and was super happy to find some in Kadina as well! Wasn’t disappointed, the Palak Paneer was amazing as well as the Chicken Tikka Masala. Looking forward to come back and enjoy another dinner here!
Sub par at best. For the prices and implied authenticity… very average. The tikka chicken and dhal were watered and tasteless. Suited to people recovering from gastrointestinal surgery in hospital. The basmati rice and naan were okay. Just don’t go here
We had delicious meals, and one of the best garlic naans.highly recommend this place, the flavours were rich, the flavours played on your palate …. Yum yum yum
Don’t recommend! Reservation for 6pm we arrived at 5: 55. Only people in the restaurant. Seated. 6: 20 waitress came and took drink orders but not meals. First drink (scotch) was ordered from THEIR menu they couldn’t locate on the shelf, came back and said they didn’t have it. We ordered an alternative brand from the menu (JW), they couldn’t find that one and said to come to the bar to pick a drink. 4 other people arrived and were seated. Their food orders were taken at 6: 45 before ours. Then our meal orders were taken. The item I picked from their menu they don’t make anymore. Sigh. Picked an alternative, actually I was over it by then and just went with an entree for my main. People at other table got their meals ahead of us. When we complained we were told that our meal was coming. One of the items (Naan bread) was severely burnt that my partner, who likes his stuff on the well done side, took one bite and put the rest on his plate. Waitress came back and asked if meal was okay. We said no. Offered to give us another nann. We declined as all we wanted to do was finish, so they took it off the bill. All up we didn’t get our meal until after 7: 15. Blah! There were only us and the other table of 4 seated and there was one takeaway pickup and one other off the street who left without an order.
The food is good and rich in taste. But there menu says dosa available when you order online thru called me and said we can’t do you can replace the items. So there was bit upset with that. All over with other food it was good in taste.
Great curries, just wish the Vindaloo was a bit hotter, even when you ask for extra hot it's still not very spicy
But it's always cooked very well and full of flavour
Wow just dined at the above for the first time and found it a very pleasing sensory flavor overload, do I need to say more? Well yes give it a go, very very nice, and the desert was awesome.
Delicious Indian fare with cheesy garlic naan bread - so good! Will definitely be returning to this little gem next time we visit Kadina!
We had lunch here today. We are nothing but impressed:) The staff friendly, beer was very cold and the food was just lovely. We recommend you give it a try. Great to have such a nice restaurant in our district.
We really loved the food and ambience. Though we wanted to dine in being a bit late at night and seeing the staff being too busy and struggling to get everything done, we decided to takeaway. We ordered tandoori chicken, prawn masala, kadai paneer, and kerala beef curry (yummy but nothing like kerala one) also rice and garlic, cheese naan. Naans were to die for.the best I ever had.loved the food.really creamy without too much oil.thank you.
Friendly staff and great food
If you like nice hot Indian curries I'd definitely recommend this place
A small trip to Kadina from Adelaide And there’s so much to explore?
Mouth watering food with eye catching presentation made my stay well worth.
Graceful wallpapers giving a close Touch/Vibe of Multicultural India
Definitely worth a Visit.
