Third Falls reviews
14I enjoy the third falls as not so many people are out there and is a good hike from the carpark
Nice place to hike or have a little picnic, everytime I have been here i have seen koalas and heaps of birdlife.
It’s easy to reach the top of the waterfall. The Third fall is not as high as the First waterfall. It's a great place to hike.
Quick walk to the 3rd falls: take the Climber's Track from Norton Summit Road, 600m to the 4th Creek. Another 200m to the viewing platform.
My favourite place ever! Skip the crowds at First Falls and make your way here. But don't tell too many people, it's so nice and peaceful here. Oh and there hasn't been a time that I didn't see kangaroos while walking to the falls!
Awesome hike! I've been an Adelaide local for so long and done My Lofty Summit multiple times but I enjoyed this hike so much more! A great one for new hikers, hikers with kids or two besties who want to hike and talk - you can make this as easy or as hard as you want with the multiple tracks.
A bit of a longer walk but definitely well worth the extra time. The walk from the second falls is a much more natural track winding along the stream.
Great walk through some quite beautiful terrain. Some small steep traverses and some not so easy longer hikes available almost year round. Plenty of scenic routes to various waterfalls. Plenty of local wildlife and native flora. The best thing is really the accessibility to the city about 20 minutes away, and the sheer amount of walks hikes and trails within the areas surrounding.
Nice walk, saw lizards a poor little lost duckling and a kangaroo. Even saw a snake swimming in the pool below third falls.
All these walks are spectacular. So fortunate to have access so close to the city. For an extended walk, tale the yurrebilla track to colonial track and turn towards Norton summit. Check it out online!
Love this walk. So beautiful. Takes about an extra 20 or so minutes walk from the 1st falls depending on the weather. Well worth the effort especially in Winter when the creeks are full and the Falls are flowing.
One of the best parks in Adelaide. Easy to get to. Some top walking trails. Well worth the visit.
This is a lovely secluded waterfall with a lovley narrow trail that leads up to it, great location for taking someone on a date or just observing with less people around!
Awesome place for a quick break during a walk. Can go dry at times so don't expect much if you visit during a dry period.
