Thiele Reserve reviews
12We came here fishing at a cloudy Sunday, but Murray Bridge happened in roadwork so we make a 15min detour to get there. The view is fairly good and some fishermen were lucky enough to get some Murray Cod. Sadly we got nothing that day. But still enjoyed the food by the river.
. Urray Bridge has lots of grassy spaces with views of the Murray River. This is one the water ski crowd loves.
Lovely place with boat ramp, children's play ground with soft rubber floor mat. Also bbq facilities.
Theile Reserve is in Murray bridge on the east side of town as it has a small playground and people can swimming and have a BBQ and ski, fish and now you can go to the toilet also they have installed public toilets. Also Orana in Murray bridge does BBQ cleaning and clean the bins for the council.
Lovely place with boat ramp, children's play ground with soft rubber floor mat. Also bbq facilities.
Great new toilet facility
Playground equipment for the kids
Beautiful landed areas for picnics
I went to Murry bridge with an over fifties club and we went on the paddle steamer the Captain Proud for a three hr tour. Thielen reserve is one of many places that we passed and we learned alot about Murray Bridge from the captain very interesting and the lunch was scrumptious great service also
My daily walk along the lever bank is about 4 KLM. Dog friendly but have your lead handy to cross over with others
Love it here but do not make my dog go on leash. He loves it too and he hurts no one or nothing.
Great boat ramp and picnic ground. Not much good for fishing though. Waaay too many snags and no fish. If anyone wants to get worms for fishing the only place in Murray bridge is the IGA.
Popular with speedboats/water skiing, house boat mooring available, electric BBQs, shelters, good grass, public toilets, boatramp, children's climbing thingy.
Love this spot but with the resent construction going on, it seems to have brought a lot of snakes out. Went there yesterday with family and friends for a day of skiing, and was confronted by 1 x adult brown which was mistaken for a stick by nearby visitors, 1 x juvenile tiger snake sunning itself on the new sand bags but started to swim around the boats once disturbed and then finally a baby brown wrapped itself around our neighbour's foot whilst sitting with a group of people. It was terrifying to say the least. Maybe some signage atm to alert people of the current dangers might be an idea.
