The Village Baker Black Forest reviews
44Lamb shank pie and chicken and corn were incredible. I bought two pies to dine-in and a sausage roll to take away, I ended up eating the sausage roll in store after the pies
This is my local bakery! I really enjoy the helpful staff and nice pies and pastries. Would certainly, recommend this bakery
Adjacent to firm installing dash camera. Great place to wait. Lots of delicious food to choose from, and coffee made exactly as requested. No pressure to leave.
Toilet available behind shop fronts.
Staff very nice.
All my interstate visitors comment how lucky I am to live close to a great bakery. One friend flies home to Perth with a family pie on ice for a quick dinner when she gets home!
Food is amazing, love pies and cookies, but many times being ignored by staff not sure if they did this on purpose.
An exceptional bakery. Lamb shank pie or a roast pumpkin and chickpea roll for the win. Also, best doughnuts!
Excellent Bakery, great coffee, deliciously chewy sourdough and highly recommend trying the duck pie. Planning my next visit back already.
We love this bakery - I dream about the savoury scones and the chicken pies are out of this world! The bread is also so gooood - yum!
The service is excellent. The donut with sprinkles I had, I believe it is meant to be strawberry, tastes like medicine. Way too sweet and horrible aftertaste.
This bakery was recommended to me. The selection was great and the pies taste great. Unfortunately one of them had a hair in it. Sorry won't be back.
Athena at this store has the most outstanding customer service skills, she talked me through the design of my 50th Birthday cake and noted every detail that I wanted. I cannot thank her enough for her care and understanding. 5 stars.
Nice venue and nice staff but all the pies have very little meat content and are very expensive for what is mostly gravy and pastry. I would love to see this changed as the venue is quite nice.
The baked goods are great, both sweet and savoury. The coffee is good and the staff are always friendly.
Love the coffee, love the Pastries and pies infact everything I try is absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the Black Forest Village Bakery. However I do wish that they would sweep the floors and wipe over the tables and chairs more regularly. I asked one young assistant to wipe over the table and she said that she was too busy. Disappointing when the food and coffee is sooo good.
Hi went to the bakery this morning for a medium coffee and toasted ham, cheese and tomato sandwich charged, $18.80 when i got in the car opened sandwich not toasted so back to shop to get toasted, coffees ok but sandwich average and overpriced.
Great bakery products from Ben and his team of professional bakers. Good coffee and easy parking, prices very reasonable, good place to drop in for brunch/lunch or afternoon tea, basically, anytime!
I was surprised at the quality of this place, they have a wide range of items, good coffee and nice staff. It was also not too busy. I highly recommend if you are in the area.
A friend referred us to the Village Baker and we weren't disappointed. The vanilla slice and the orange and almond cake are both delicious!
We also tried the fennel and fig sour dough bread, which was also delicious and would be great as part of a cheese board.
I'm not a fan of pies.in fact, i hate it. The Village Baker changed that. Their pies are incredible.
