The Turkish Delight reviews
11Don't know what all the others in reviews are so negative about. The one I bought was the best I've ever eaten. Won't be buying supermarket garbage ever again. I'm no expert but I know what I like. & I like this!
Purchased for first time. Staff friendly but unfortunately the turkish delight were not nice. Texture and taste should almost be melt in the mouth & not rubbery & taste was not pleasant. Won't be getting again. I've heard the halva is nice so will have to try next time I'm in Adelaide.
I was at the Adelaide Markets & tasted plenty at the Turkish Delight. I bought 5 pieces / slices of Turkish Delight firm jelly with pistachios. I absolutely love it, the most delicious slightly sweet rosewater flavoured delicacy I have tasted. I will be seeking to buy more online of this delicious delight, as I live in Queensland.
The Turkish delight is just average (but I have high expectations for Turkish delight, so I'm sure most Western palates will love it). But the halva and the nougat are excellent and I highly recommend them. I buy halva and nougat here every week. The staff are very friendly.
Make sure you have a small piece to sample make before purchase anything. Aweful aweful taste. The Woolworth jellybean version of the turkish delight is million times better. I would eat a spoonful of sugar and drip some rose water to my mouth rather than eat their product ever again.
I love this place. The staff are so friendly and their products are the best. Try the halva! Just try them all!
If you have a sweet tooth or just a lover of "Turkish Delight" this is your stairway to heaven. Well done guys. I am hooked.
Love the Cental Market.
Delicious Turkish Delight and generous staff allowed my daughter to taste a slice of a flavour not available for tasting. We bought three flavours and wish we could have bought more.
This place is awesome. They do a huge variety of Turkish delight, in a number of unusual as well as traditional flavours and they are delicious and very well made. We come here regularly!
Turkish sweets.tasty. Handmade Turkish Delights and an amazing range of Mediterranean sweets. Nice staff
Cool concept and large range of flavours but the Turkish delight itself is very average. I asked for grape, rose/almond and mango but When I got home I realised I had been given a plain rose Turkish delight instead of the grape which was disappointing. The flavour and texture were not very nice, maybe because they are on display in the open air and uncovered
