The Spud Shop

Really delicious spud. My main criticism is the conical shaped bowl which is not stable when cutting with force. Quite a lot of force was needed to cut through the tough potato skin using the blunt disposable knife provided, so bowl kept wanting to topple.

Another point of improvement would be displaying the spud menu more prominently in store rather than needing to read it on a sheet of A4 paper.

Nonetheless I will be back for another delicious spud.

This place has great food, it isn't really a place you sit and eat at. They have two little two seater tables out front but it's awkward and uncomfortable. The people running the joint are nice, friendly and honest though. They could be so busy you'll have a twenty minute wait and will tell you you're welcome to wait but if you can't wait then to look elsewhere and will say it with a smile.

It's hearty take away. It's filling and there is a range of good options. The most disheartening thing was the removal of the pork crackle cups as an optional extra and now crackling only comes with certain dishes but that hasn't stopped me going back and shouldn't stop you going in!

DO NOT COME HERE! UNLESS YOU WANT FOOD POISONING! Service is great, but, Me (pregnant), my partner and my 1 year old all in hospital experiencing food poisoning after eating from this joint. Will be taking this further!

Never eaten from the spud shop, but next door sea food nice but they need to change there oil

I was really looking foward to dinner, opened it up and wasnt too impressed with how it looked, then i tasted it, yuck, i spat it out, it was so salty, no ham, its dry salty bacon

I've been eating here since this store opened, must be 15 years. Food is still delicious and homely. Love the tuna mornay and bolognese spud. I wish they brought back the original beef goulash and stroganoff ones, though. Staff efficient and friendly. Sadly, the store doesnt appear to have been renovated over the years and needs some love, a paint, and some hybrid flooring to make it look more inviting and tidy. Amazing food though and your not waiting long.

Food is delicious. Occasionally, order is incorrect, and shop cleanliness needs to improve.

Delicious. So many vegan options including cheese and sour cream. This is a completely customized meal which was exactly what I was craving. The staff were lovely and friendly and got every single thing correct.
Will be back.

Ordered four different loaded spuds for four very hungry night shift security officers and all we can say is. Words cannot describe how amazing these were.

Ordered 13 potatoes online for my colleagues and I for a Friday lunch, and not only did I get an incredible deal with free delivery, but we had 13 very happy customers! Travels well, food arrived nice and hot, and everyone was very happy with their choices. A real bang for your buck as well. Nice, hearty, filling - perfect winter lunch. This place has the friendliest staff anywhere. They have fast service and the spuds are great, vegan options available. This is a family favourite, especially as you can pick any topping that you like. The regular size spuds are big and filling.

Hadn't been in years went back and was definitely worth it.
The serving size is excellent and there is so much choice.

Great tasty options. Meat eaters, vegetarians & vegans will ball be happy with the options. Generous serving sizes and always tasty.

The spud was not worth the $18.00 charged, way over priced with the ingredients not tasting fresh and it lacked flavour and taste.
Went to pick it up and certainly the premises looked very unclean and unhygienic with the floor included in this. Disgusting. Ended up throwing my overpriced spud in the bin.
Will never be coming back.
