What a fantastic cafe. My breakfast roll “Don’t go bacon my heart” was scrumptious (love the onion jam especially) and I loved the location. Well done Keegan. Great place for brunch. We will be visiting again

HONEST REVIEW.
All day brunch with a variety of sweet and savoury, vegetarian and gluten free options. Great to see unfortunately I happen to visit on a public holiday and ordered at 3 seperate times, staff did not hesitate to charge me the public holiday surcharge each time I ordered. $9 all up just in surcharges I'm sorry but not cool. Ordered poached eggs on very soggy toast was extremely bland and the bacon a little on the nose couldn't continue eating it. Avocado and hollandaise sauce was $4 extra each! And I don't know what sauce was put on my plate but that was not hollandaise.that was more of a Mayo mixed with spicy sauce when I saw it I actually started laughing.it also went untouched as it did not suit the dish at all. Finally a brunch bar with no hash browns on the menu as a breakfast lover that's a real disappointment. Female staff could be a little less dry and blunt with their customer service also I felt as if my business wasn't wanted, lack of hospitality in a hospitality industry always comes out in the quality of food and experience. Excellent menu. I had the keto breakfast. Huge and delicious for $22. Lovely view of the ocean. Ideal place to wait for the ferry.

Great ambience with a lovely outlook. We had a cheese burger each.we really enjoyed it! Coffee is well made and the staff are friendly. The menu is a little on the pricey side, but hey, it's good!

Sadly for second visit since reopening under new owners…. Disappointed. 30min for coffee then another 45-50min for poached eggs on toast this last trip…. Previous was slightly better.
Found the menu complicated and staff were inflexible about accomodation of dietary adjustments.
In the end walked away undecided if we will return, a previous regular venue for weekend/holiday meals.

Poor service and average drinks. Coffee took 25 minutes to come out and only once we had enquired twice about it. My mango smoothie was not a smoothie at all with chunks of mango that you needed a spoon to eat and it was very icy. The cakes looked delicious but unfortunately I won’t be back to try them

Great location. Great breakfast except my toast was hardly toasted at all. It was still very pale. I could turn a blind eye for that except that the customer service was not genuine. I felt rushed when i ordered so i deliberately took my time and the woman huff and puff. Yes i know what to order but i still have some questions about the menu so she should have been more patient. I observed all the staff, yes they were all busy but it doesn't cost to be friendly and smile. Instead they were abrupt and looked unhappy. Not good for the business. Will definitely not come back again and would not recommend.

Wonderful friendly waitress advised us which dishes to order off the new menu we were not disappointed spectacular meals very different and divine!

Arrived at The Shores today looking to grab some lunch. As my wife is Gluten Free we were struggling to make a suitable choice. The Chef on duty recognised the struggle and came out to chat and offer solutions. He offered to cook my wife a special GF chicken and salad dish and our daughter a burger to her liking. We couldnt be happier the food was awesome but most important the Chef went out of his way to accomodate our needs. This place understands customer service and deserve to be commended for it. Thank you again.

The food was really nice. The service was average, and they left our finished plates on the tables for a long time after we had all finished eating. The background music was too loud and inappropriate (it was rap music with heavy swearing). It was busy though and lovely by the water.
