The Salvation Army Ingle Farm reviews
11Have free playgroup with tea and coffee every Monday to Wednesday 9 till 1. Great space for kids to play
Rude. And to get help you have to go through this phone service which is always full because people know how to abuse the system leaving people weeks to get help
The new phone line for help with food is disgusting u can start ringing at 9.00 and when u get thorough it says it's full all ready at 9.05 come on I have been trying for a week same thing every day
The Salvation Army has always been amazing in their support of people in need. Staff are wonderful and non judgmental.
If it’s help you require get ready to be humiliated.
Family member is dying of cancer. Attend a welfare appointment, having driven from Salisbury to ingle farm and this billion dollar charity gives 30$ voucher with the most awful volunteer assistant. It’s degrading, a joke, they spend more on their plan Ed of worship than helping you
A very warm welcome, a comfortable venue. Interesting to watch my Great granddaughter at playground
A really nice place very friendly did not filled judged made me feel like a person also very helpful.
Cafe called "Paid 4 U" (was Cafe salvo) Great place for a coffee and amazing food. I had the butter chicken When you pay for your food and coffee you're paying it forward for someone less fortunate.
Through national debt line an appointment was arranged with Sara. I arrived on time keeping in mind CV19 was happening. I was ushered to a room and sat down where I was not put at ease but asked what she could do for me in a cold condescending tone. Well that just made me angry as I am unwell and I needed a shoulder to pour a situation out that was beyond my control and not my fault. Sara cut me of short was rude and didn't even have the courtesy to read my prior history of events that Louie polumbi at TEA TREE gully salvation army had made the effort in following up. I am a human person who had gone to Inglefarm branch as Louie was unavailable. Well I can say it was very uncomfortable and unemmpathetic toward myself. Some compation or empathy to this toxic situation would have made this visit more bearable. On top of that 10 min in I asked Sara if she had a cold as she replied she has a scratchy throat. She said yes.i m angry as im a full-time carer and she could have warned me before putting my health already at risk. You should'n't have been at work if you have symptons of CV19. You sit behind a beautiful expensive desk and the whole overall renovation i can see where the money has gone. Your offices look cold like a lawyers office. Your little staff that was there spoke at me not to me. I'll never go back there again. The founder of the salvation army most definitely voiced to bring light where there was darkest times. This place failed me. I left with matter unresolved still. Very disappointed.
Have been seeing the financial counsellor there, she's been really amazing and helpful with helping me sort out my finances, including talking to the bank and sorting out mortgage repayments and the others who I owe money to due to my health situation.
