The Salvation Army reviews
20 Good for the homeless they have free showers there and a washing machine and dryer to use
And all the staff are caring and helpful
Lots of items but not a huge variety. Clean, well organised. Reasonably priced. Pleasant staff.
Great place, wonderful volunteers who are extremely helpful. Prices are definitely affordable with plenty of stock for all occassions.
How the heck do they handle all the junk that people use to drop there instead of taking it to the tip. I see there got new signs up about dumping rubbish there but it seems like there's a lot of people who can't read and dump stuff the on the weekends. I see people picking up items after midnight
Thank you for your store at Kadina the staff are always happy and friendly, thanks to the amazing range of goods you have and the awesome prices which makes life much easier with a family.
Thank you so very much
Location, Kadina SA. Wonderful, friendly, very helpful staff. Easy parking. Very clean, well-lit store, lots of stock but not crowded in.
Best place to go on york peninsula for cheap quality items. The furniture i have seen there is great quality, and I always find a bargain on clothes and shoes and handbags. Cheapest place to buy cheap dvds and books too.
Nice, clean property and items for sale.
Some items a bit pricey.
Helpful volunteers who are very aware of stock and where to find things if you are in a hurry.
They are caring friendly people with manners that are hard to find these days, where there is disrespect and fear is evidently a driving force. Blessings!
A great place to pick up a real bargain. Lots of second hand clothing, toys, kitchen items and furniture just to name a few. Well worth a look.
I love going to the Salvos you meet happy and helpful people. Captain Karen is always there to have a chat or to help, I always come away with a lighter heart and smiling. Plus it has an amazing op shop.
Captain Karen is amazing and willing to listen. She has an amazing group of people around her, very friendly and helpful
I just came into the store asking if they had any Christmas stuff (mainly clothes) because we are having Christmas in July with our local social club
The lady who I saw said they had tons of Christmas stuff out the back, she asked someone else and they both said come out and have a look, we got half way through having a look, and some angry lady (putting it nicely) came out and said "I don't know who you are but you have to leave right now & YOU NEED TO PUT THE STUFF BACK (the stuff that I've already picked out) " fair enough tell me to leave the area, but if you talk to me like that, YOU CAN GET STUFFED
I'm sorry for trying to support this local charity, i won't be coming back to this place again,
Went here during their posted opening hours but they're closed, 2 other groups tried to visit as well.
So many people are in the area trying to get to these places this time of year but they all shut when people try to get to them.
The facilities are fabulous. Free showers, toilets, washing machines, towels and a heap of toiletries. Thank you.
The store had very few decent clothing available.
Brillianr!
They are the best people you'll ever meet in a shop. Kind, cheerful, helpful and selling goods at a very low price.
The shop is clean easy to navigate, organised and has music too. A most enjoyable shopping experience with as added bonus kindness and generosity.
I recommend it to anyone as a client or as a volunteer.
Captain Karen Armstrong is such a wonderful woman! She is leading a wonderful, welcoming church! A great Salvation Army! Also a great thrift shop with showers and toilet for those in need, e.g. Homeless!
How the heck do they handle all the junk that people drop there instead of taking it to the tip its disgraceful?
Qualityty clothing at good prices. Always grab my fishing clothing there too. A good range of utensils for cooking as well.
It's great to actually find a salvation army store that doesn't charge an arm and a leg. Everything they get is donated so there's no reason to put retail prices.it was a great change to see clothing from $2 and i actually got a nice dress for my sister for just $10 which still had tag on for $50- very good lots to choose from.
