The Salvation Army / Salvos Stores reviews
10Anyone who opshops knows Salvos is a staple. Good service at this one and a decent medium sized shop. Full range.
It's an okay store, would've enjoyed my experience more if it hadn't been for the two teenagers making out in the kids section.
Always a good experience at this store. Large variety of goods of all types and very friendly staff.
Excellent place to pick up quaint furniture pieces and glassware n more at bargain prices. Must be your lucky day to get the best. Great helpful staff.
Furniture, bric-a-brac, clothing. Not a bad Salvos, people are lovely and the store has a reasonably high turnover so you aren't looking at the same stuff visit after visit.
Of all the salvos stores I've visited this is my least favorite. It use to be my local store but I had a number of bad experiences. I will never return to this store. I hope it has improved since my last visit (just over 12 months ago) but I don't hold high hopes for it.
There was a lovely guy here who when my grandkids were getting ancey went out the back and came back with a lollipop each for them. Lifesaver
Are you sure they're a charity stoor!
Very overpriced!
Look around elsewhere if you can.
Good place for shopping for clothes furniture and nic nacs staff are helpful and friendly.it pay's to shop around for what you want to buy.
Cannot fault the mission/objective of the Salvation Army and this particular outlet displays excellent customer service and are extremely grateful for donations when I've provide donations.
However something which really annoys me is the lack of secure donation bins. Before any available volunteers/employees can arrange the donations, people lurking outside (which is a frequent occurrence) rummage through the donation bins before anyone can bring the donations inside. Hence 50 -70% of donations aren't actually brought inside, rather picked up by people who may or may not actually require these items. Not discrediting people's needs or circumstances however the lack of secure bins is at times really disheartening.
Other than that, very good establishment.
