I had the pleasure of visiting The Round House in Murray Bridge, and it was a truly delightful experience. This historical house is a hidden gem that offers a fascinating glimpse into the past.

The Round House's unique architecture is a sight to behold and gives you a sense of stepping back in time. The interior is beautifully preserved, with period-appropriate furnishings and decor that transport you to a bygone era. The attention to detail is remarkable, and it's evident that the owners take great pride in maintaining the authenticity of this historical treasure.

The knowledgeable guides on site are passionate about the house's history and are eager to share their insights. They provided us with a wealth of information about the house's past occupants and its role in the local community's history, which added depth to our visit.

The surrounding gardens are also well-maintained and add to the overall charm of the property. It's a perfect spot for a leisurely stroll and to appreciate the beauty of the outdoors.

I was wondering around the town of Murray Bridge looking for historic and significant landmarks to photograph. I found this remarkable historic "The Round House". It's a beautiful historic house. I didn't go inside the house as you need to book a tour.

Beautifully preserved building, great to see history being preserved for future generations. Great view of both bridges. Well worth a visit.

A rare XIX century sandstone building designed to suit the Australian climate, looks imposing from the main entry.
We found it looking for a vantage point to take a photo of the bridges. It was way past closing time so we just had a stroll in the landscaped gardens. Next time.
