The Robin Hood Hotel reviews
70Got the burger - it was small and there was a scoop of chips with it and that's it for $26. No salad, no meat patty that fit the size of the bun etc. My coffee cup had a huge black crack in it which I didn't notice until I'd half drunk it. There were no carparks available and the place was overcrowded so extremely noisy. First and last time going there.
Deposit was paid to book a table of 14 for family members 70th lunch at 12: 30. Family member called to confirm no time limit on the table and was told all good through to 9pm. Arrived to be told a larger area, including our table had been booked for a group of 25 and at 2: 30 and we would have to move when they arrived and they would relocate us to another area. We were approached at 2: 30 when several people were still mid meal and told time was up. Only 3 people had arrived for the other booking and were sitting at other tables for their booking. People rushed their meals and we relocated to another area - no assistance from staff to bring other tables together - me and my wife did it. Was over an hour before more people arrived and the table we were at was put to use. No apologies from staff for the inconvenience or thanks for sorting ourselves with the new tables. Disappointing considering the amount of money spent across the group.
Beer garden was nice. Food was okay. Service as above. Expected more.
Service by the young woman at the Bistro was excellent from the prompt welcome, service and farewell. The area was serviced efficiently by only 2 staff, the other male staff member was also very energenic and friendly. Well done.
Would love to come back again.
Service is excellent.
Food is glorious.
Love the relaxing atmosphere.
Maybe parking area have to be improved.
Long time Robin Hood visitor. Dining room ideal for catching up with friends. Party of 4 enjoyed fresh bread a couple of mixer drinks and a beer. Sparkling mineral water and ordered the Turkey special and the fish. All good. Relaxed into sharing two super large serves of the rhubarb crumble and icecream. Best ever. $59 a head and our waitress Abby was brilliant. All happy tonight!
We had dinner at the Robin Hood hotel on Saturday night. I ordered grilled fish, 1 piece for $27. I was so shocked at what arrived, I could hardly speak and unfortunately didn't take a picture. A pile of chips thrown on the plate, soggy salad and a piece of fish that was so tiny they should have been embarrassed to serve it. I will never go back.
In terms of food, it is very standard for a pub with respect to quantity, quality and pricing. Nothing really stood out from the ordinary in terms of food. The drinks are likewise. The service was good and the general environment and vibe was fairly nice as well. Overall, a fairly decent local pub experience.
Whether your having a romantic evening or drinks with the lads, the Robin hood has always been my no1 go to!
Table of 4, very busy dining room and enclosed beer garden. Food great, service good. Could do with acoustic upgrade in dining room, with full house it can get a bit noisy for conversation.
Lost our order, no real apology given. Meal came out very quickly after we spoke up. Looked like a rush too. Flavours ok but slapped together.
Five Stars for the service staff
The hotel is a great style and built for large groups or just couples.
Food was on par.
Will be back
Thanks Michele
The chicken schnitzel l ordered was off. My daughter tasted it and spat it out immediately! They offered to bring me something else but l couldn't face another wait and l felt a bit off after my experience.
Had dinner at Robin Hood Hotel tonight William’s customer service was on another level, incredibly efficient and went above and beyond with his service……. Will definitely return, Thankyou William for your incredible service appreciated
Rip off pass merchant fees onto there customers blaming the banks i dont know anyother place that does this.it cost me nearly $20 dollars in fees one beer marked at $9 when i used my own savings card cost me $9.59 a merchant fee of 0.59 poor form never go back
Had burgers, $25. Each. Just don't do it. Soggy, flat looking burger. Could have been a bad night maybe.
Chicken Schnitzel and mash, average. Small serve. Service was great though. Atmosphere good. Good, is just overpriced for what you get in quality and quantity.
Service and atmosphere excellent. Most of the food I could not fault, but beef parmy's were a bit of a disappointment. Caesar salad great. The open fire place was a real godsend
Nice venue, really fanatic meal, way better than I'd expect from a local pub. Great spot for a mid week lunch.
Great atmosphere, nice relaxing feel in this hotel, staff are very friendly and efficient.
Meal and dessert was ok, we’ll nothing special. The antipasto share platter was yummy!
Unique atmosphere and vibe
Brilliant beer garden and amazing food recommend for sure
Best steak in Adelaide cooked with outstanding service. We're going to have dinner there again next week
