The Red Mill Bakehouse

Had meat pie, had filler in or something not meat mincy at all. Finger bun was yesterday's. Service was ok, girl who served me was pleasant. Used to come here a lot, but no more.

The best bakery in Adelaide as far as I am concerned. There is a Mediterranean leaning to things and boy do they do great food. The kataifi is a dream, their cakes are perfect and the cheese and chilli kransky is the best I have ever eaten. Of course if you are just after a pie, I doubt you will find a better one.

A good range of pies, pasties, rolls, foccasia, and desserts. All that I've tried have been good and are very satisfying
Tea and coffee are good, staff are friendly.
I really like the Greek desserts.
I recommend a visit if you're passing by.

Use to love coming here for the Cornish pasties but. They have now shrunk quite abit in size which is disappointing. My partner had a satay chicken pie which she said was more like a curry pie. We were underwhelmed by our experience here which is sad as it used to be a great place to buy bakery items

Always love this place we had an apple streudel plus a custard croissant with iced chocolate.never disappoints here

Fresh sourdough that was still warm from the oven.

This was one of my favourite bakehouse.
What has happened? My last 2 visits were terrible. Something has changed with the pastry. The chilli kranskys use to be the best. 3 strikes.and your out!

I really used to love this place but after today. Not so sure. After a nice morning at the beach called in to pick up some goodies to take home. Heaps of people eating at tables. A young lady walked out to tell me that they were not serving any more people more people due to staff shortage and were closing. How rude, all wanted was some nice things to take home. Must have changed hands.

Ordered 2 trays of baguettes and 2 trays of cakes for after funeral. Rang 5 minutes before collection time. They had no idea of the order. No apology. They made the order up. The sandwiches were falling apart and the eclairs had nothing in them. This cost $215.00. Say no more.

Great coffee, fresh sourdough and fruit bread. Pies and pasties are good too. Hard to go wrong!

Found this place using the Entertainment Book vouchers, will go back again. Lovely food and reasonably good pricing! 4 stars because a car parked behind me in their small carpark

Closed 45 minutes earlier than said on website because they had a slow day not very good service if i say so myself

Top place the staff are all extremely helpful and friendly, the quality of the products is exceptional and the taste is awesome I highly recommend this place

I used to go here many years ago before I moved to Sydney. Back then the bakery in terms of pies and kransky dogs were awesome.
Came back to Adelaide and what a disappointment the bakery items were. The kransky dogs which were my fave had pastry with the same consistency as clay. Clay is lifeless and boring. The pies were similar in pastry and the filling was average in flavour.

It got 2 stars instead of 1 because the coffee was good on the day.

Great bakery everything on the menu is good but they don't put anything aside for you and have no problem ensuring they will have what you want when they obviously don't.

Was hanging out for a coffee and stumbled across this place. I'm glad I did. One of the best coffees I've ever had.
I wish I had been hungry because their cakes & sweet things looked fantastic.
I didn't see what savoury food they have but as I will definitely be going back for coffee I will check out the menu in more detail next time

This is my absolute favourite place to get coffee! The staff are so lovely and kind. Coffee AND food is always 10/10. My family even travel all the way down from Modbury to the red mill bakehouse!
