The Potters Shed

This is the absolute best place if you are wanting to experience the wheel and get your hands dirty. The small class sizes are great because Rodrigo has the availability to spend time helping you one-on-one. I loved this 4 week course and Ill be booking in another one for sure to really work on my wheel throwing skills. If you are thinking about giving it a go, please try here first! I can not speak highly enough of the wonderful experience I had and not to mention my new favourite pots I got to take home!

A great introductory experience into the world of pottery. Rodrigo is very welcoming and very helpful in guiding you through every step of the process while also allowing you the freedom to have total control over your final product. What a great experience for anyone who is looking for a sensorial activity to relax, have fun and create! The ambient its very welcome, the playlist throughout the session is great and Rodrigo manages to support each individual during the class. Don't hesitate to try it!

Highly recommend Rodrigo. He is so chill, and down to earth. Great at teaching - he was very observant when someone (especially me!) would be struggling/unsure of what to do, and was able to help “fix” the problem / provide advice on what to do. Have already recommended to many friends and family.:)

This was an awesome experience. So glad I got to do it. Very laid back environment, friendly people & the teacher was very helpful. I thought my work turn out terrible haha but Rodrigo helped me end up with a little piece that I was proud of! Definitely recommend. Might even do it again myself one day.

My friends and I had never done wheel throwing before but Rodrigo was super kind, patient and helpful teaching us. Very lovely experience and would absolutely do it again, especially for special events like the Raku BBQ. Great music taste too!

I went with my cousin to Potters Shed for the 4 week class and the experience was amazing. Rodrigo is very experienced and patient, we were able to do beautiful mugs and vases for the house. Definetely coming back!

My partner and I joined up to try something new. We love the relaxed atmosphere and friendly vibes. Roddy was a great teacher and we really enjoyed learning from him. A great experience with your friends, on your own, or to meet some new people. Pottery is very satisfying, and something I am so keen to explore more since being inspired by Rod.

Had an awesome time at the Potters Shed! Great vibes, great tunes and as someone who had zero experience it was the perfect place to learn. Rodrigo is super helpful and the pace of the classes are well balanced, ensuring a comfortable learning curve as well as plenty of pieces to fire!

A genuinely wholesome experience and you walk away with knowledge, confidence and a self esteem boost learning a new and sometimes challenging skill. Rodrigo is helpful in giving advice and guidance through the classes, I've done the course twice I enjoyed it that much!

The classes are well thought out and executed by an AMAZING teacher.
I couldn’t recommend doing the classes. I wish I was still in Adelaide fulltime to be able to continue on to an intermediate level.
