The People's Market at Hart's Mill

All events at Harts Mill Port Adelaide are great, I always spend too much money. The stall holders that come in for different events are very good.

Lovely people running a quaint market, plants, seeds, substrate, knowledge and a fresh produce section where you can get local made bread and pastries as well as food and veg!

Great range in seasonal produce, fresh locally made breads and pastries, pantry staples here and there, and heavily discounted ripened produce. All of which are really affordable! Loving the community vibe too.

Only wish it were open more days ;), but I can't complain with how great of a gem this already is. Highly recommend.

A real hidden gem of a little market, selling all sorts of plants, vegetables, breads. With such lovely, helpful store keepers.

Its everything a hippy millenial, eco friendly do gooder hipster like myself wants.

Its has a cool rustic funky simple decor, has morals, the staff are lovely and knowledgable, the fruit and veg are incredibly delicious and cheap!

Try the no spray oranges, baby spinach (actual ground grown baby spinach, not hydroponic!) and organic dates.

Some of the best produce I have had outside of a garden.

This is my regular place for veggie pick ups when we have the time.

Wow! What an amazing experience The People's Market is.
Open Friday to Sunday 10 - 4, it is a sanctuary oasis in the retail desert.
You can obtain the essential bread and milk as well as a broad range of quality fruit and vegetables with some organic produce as well as non-perishable food and health items.
Then on Sundays there is the most eclectic flea market with signed prints, hand-knotted carpets, literature and feature books, knick-knacks, collectables plus a diverse range of vinyl records as LPs, EPs & singles.
Far out, man! What a trip!?
