The Organik Store & Cafe reviews
63 As a long standing gluten free go-to cafe, I decided to go here for lunch with a friend. I have Coeliac disease and am typically able to eat out and select gluten free options from most menus, with no adverse reactions in around a decade or more. However, after having lunch here I was really unwell. I don’t know if it was gluten or food poisoning but it has certainly put me off of dining here again. So just a warning to any ‘coeliacs’ to not let your guard down because the cafe is perceived as fairly experienced in the gluten free dietary requirement. Ask questions and double check. I was possibly too relaxed. Or I was served bad eggs… I’ll never know.
Coffee was good though.
Staff service was hit and miss. One staff member was awesome and the other very frosty.
Pricey. Seated oddly right by fridges. Our orders were messed up. Good coffee. Great vegan options. Nothing special.
What a wonderful store/cafe…
Dropped in for lunch during the week and was pleasantly surprised to the quirky design, great layout, interesting and healthy produce.
Also had lunch (I had the special lentil soup with sourdough bread - perfect). My friends also enjoyed the Roasted Portobello Mushroom (loved it) and Good Gut Burger (also enjoyed) and Organik Pancakes (loved it also)
Loved the relaxed atmosphere, mug rack, water on tap and flowers that perfumed through the shop…
Highly Recommended.
Apple cheesecake looked good but very boring.disappointed. Coffee was ok though. Will try one of the many other options next timemmm
Nice spot, good food.
Like all coffee shops: closes too early. I'm sure it's a budgetary measure, but it really doesn't fit the market.
We visit here so many times! And it’s actually one of our favorites! The coffee is absolutely the best in Adelaide? I ordered vegan avocado corn toast and my partner ordered pancakes with extra bacons. That’s our favorite meal!
Nice atmosphere and great food, and when you combine it with a great coffee, it is delightful
We had a delicious breakfast here yesterday, was so impressed! A tick for me is being able to get a high chair quickly without bothering anyone it was easy to order, friendly service and the sides were a good serve which is rare! I was extremely impressed? It was great finding a place that had light, fresh food rather than loaded pancakes etc. Absolutely amazing!
Beautiful place, amazing food and beverages. Wish I was staying in Glenelg longer so I could try more things
Very popular spot in Glenelg South. Great coffee, excellent cafe food choices. We enjoyed coffee and breakfast followed by a walk down to the beach.
Tumeric Latte and a Ham and Cheese Crossiant.
My experience:
The cafe has a trendy atmosphere, with a boutique feel about it. They share half the cafe with the "organik" produce. There is large selection of cakes and lunch options available.
My tumeric latte with soy, was very creamy and was strong on the tumeric. Some added sugar balanced the intensity. My Crossiant was lovely and crispy with decorative garnish.
Was a great experience, and I would come back again to see the "organik" produce.
OMG. Fresh food that tastes sooooo yummy. I had the salads, yes couldn't decide on which one so a bowl with all 5 in. Best way. I will be back again with friends.
Fantastic coffee, but charging $7 for an oat latte (with a credit card surcharge in 2023!) is a bit much.
Incredibly slow service 15 min wait for a long black with no explanation. Very average coffee for the wait.
I dropped in here for lunch today (half way through a 2 hour walk around the Glenelg area). The place was clean, had a great menu, the staff were friendly and attentive etc etc, I will be back! Thanks
I feel like this should be better but the coffee and feel just let it down. Also the organic stuff is slightly on the higher side. Yes I know organic is, but I’m comparing this statement to other organic. But I know some love this place so it might be me on this one.
Even though the cafe closes at 3pm and we got there at 1.50pm we were rushed through and made to feel like we an inconvenience. Told we had 7minutes to order and the staff preceded to clean and stack tables around us the whole time we were there.
Food was yummy and prices were appropriate.
We ordered poached eggs on toasts with mushrooms and raspberry white chocolate waffles both gluten and dairy free. Food and service was amazing!
Have been meaning to go here for years and so glad we did today! Nice vibe with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I love how you can walk through the store to the cafe. Lots of organic produce for sale.
Our food was delicious! I found the turmeric latte a bit pricey for the size of the cup.
Cute cafe and store tucked away in Glenelg. Came here early one morning (This was the only cafe open in the area at 7: 30AM) and enjoyed a nice coffee and salmon/avocado toast. Spent over an hour here enjoying the ambience. Would happily come back!
