The Little Red Grape Co. reviews
53We were recommended to call in here before the start of our trip from Benalla Victoria on 14 May 2022. Yes easy parking we really came to buy Beasting cake which were awesome. Doughnuts were great which we ate during our trip back to Mildura on 23 May.
Nice coffee and roll for lunch. Seemed to be doing a thriving trade. Appeared to have good selection of cakes, pastries etc.
Great little stop, light lunch if your biking the Riesling trail, can vouch for the lamb shank pie!
The pies were awesome. Special shout out to the Lamb shank pie. They ran out of the chicken and mushroom pie so we’ll definitely come back here for a feed again.
Called in after our wine tasting experience, great lil Cafe, sooo many delish treats. Coffee was spot on
Great bakery with a vast array of savoury and sweet products.
We ate lunch there 2 out of 3 days in Clare!
Able to include the dog by sitting outside on the verandah but very cute dining room available as well.
Highly recommend the lamb shank pie and the lamb yiros roll. The vegetarian breakfast wrap was amazing!
An old fashioned cherry slice and huge finger bun went down well too:)
It's a great place to hire a room for meetings or interviews, have a meal, or a coffee. Staff are always friendly and helpful.
I'm giving it 5 stars for the very drinksble coffee and nice muffin while passing thru. Not sure about food in the cabinet. Can't rate that. I drink coffee.coffee pretty dark and only a touch of sugar. So many coffees are sour and even undrinkable (without lots of milk), but not this one.
Always a good bakery to stop at. I've had the lamb shank pie a couple of times and it is delicious.
Fantastic shop, award winning pies, great staff, clean premises and great selection of food and drinks.
I dropped in for Lunch to this popular spot.
It has ample off street parking.
Employs plenty of polite staff who know their stuff. The venue itself is an old house or shop. It's been converted into a shop and dining area. It has one toilet, maybe it's only negative. The food was typical great quality lower north SA Cornish Pasties and generous sausage roils and pies and well as freshly cut rolls. Prices weren't cheap but the quality and size are in proportion.
What a great little Cafe where the good food grows on the Special Pie Trees! There's a large and very great assortment of meaty and not meaty treats commonly called pastries and Patisororreey Is that how you spell it? ! Probably I hereby dubb thee cafe of the masses. Let them eat cake or anything else that resembles and tastes like food.straight off the tree. Fresh as ya like non-frozen heated treats! #BrucesPlanet. Com Where My Imagination Lives! #CoffeeCupJenga
Nice vegan options! Got the vegan burger (swapped chips for salad) and was pleasantly surprised.nice vegan patty, vegan cheese, and even some mock bacon! Lots of other choices too on a section of the menu dedicated specifically to vegan options.
The sausage roll was over cooked and the apricot turnover was a couple off days old very disappointed
I’m afraid that I’ve been to the LRG three times in the past 5 weeks and each time I’ve been disappointed. I go in a Sunday afternoon and order a coffee and it is not what I expected to get - it’s not extra hot, it’s not half strength and yesterday it was in a takeaway cup even though I sat down to drink it. On the two occasions when I ordered a sausage roll. It was as if it had been bought from a supermarket and yesterday’s potato pie was so hard on top that I took off the potato topping and started eating from the inside. Not sure what’s gone wrong but when I came back to Australia in 2019 it was so much better. Sorry folks but it’s what I was served.
6 star service!
This is a gem of a bakery and so much more. The premises has a cellar door located within so it has heaps of different areas to either enjoy the sunlight outdoors or the heritage home the bakery is pointed within.
The food was fresh and tasty and the staff were fantastic.
Been here twice in two days. You have to come just after they open, order and sit out in their pattio and listen to all the birds singing away. Excellent service, very friendly. Very good value $$ (I am not vegetarian) but you gotta tryTheir vegetarian pasties. It is full on the inside they don't skimp! I also had a large latte and 10 points guys very strong. Their toast is really filling.
This place is hellish expensive, and nothing is baked on the premises.not everyone is a cashed up tourist. You won't be seeing me again, I know for fact that the vast majority of your reply is a lye. Not a place for locals.
We had Ryan from little red grape do doughnuts, macaroons and even a cake that looks like a huge doughnut for our wedding on the 30th Jan 2021. Omg exceptional, they looked amazing, tasted even better and were a huge hit with all of our guests.you can see the hard work, time and care that went into these, they were insane! We generally stop by here after visiting the in-laws in Clare and my oh my they never disappoint, we cannot recommend this lovely local business more than enough, do yourself a favour and drop by! We will always come back for more.thank you to the lovely people at little red grape!
