The Islander Estate Vineyards - Kangaroo Island Wines

Bought a quick $45 dollar bottle of amazing deep French style champagne - the tastings were full of people enjoying their avo and seemed like everyone was having a lovely time.

A beautiful winery with a warm atmosphere. Excellent hospitality from the staff, of particular note, Carmen was very accommodating. Told us a story behind each wine, making it very engaging. Not to mention the wine was delicious!

We had a thoroughly enjoyable visit.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff who knew their wines and were keen to show them to us. Recommended

What a wonderful afternoon spent at this delicious cellar door, wonderful tastings and lovely cheese board, great views and fabulous wines all delivered by the perfect hostess (Jackie) who has an absolutely amazing ability to describe the wines to perfection.

Enjoyed visiting Islander Estate cellar door. Lots of amazing wines, it was nice to try a variety with the tasting. Jody was friendly and knowledgeable about the wines.

Super friendly and personalised tasting. It’s a smaller cellar door but definitely worth a visit. You can build your own basket of local foods to pair with your wine great!

The best wine on KI (we went to all of them). Hosts very friendly, welcoming and informative. Had a great time here on numerous occasions during our month's stay on the Island.

Went with a larger group for a birthday, so we were lucky enough to enjoy a private tasting session. The staff were amazing, sophie is clearly full of knowledge, yet she explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. The wines are delicious and the venue is beautiful. Highly recommend

We arrived to cellar door, on arrival 6 people tasting. We waited patiently and in the time a large group arrived. We felt we were ignored and the group took preference. They were asked they were staying and offered premium tasting and we weren’t asked at all. Felt like we were two teenagers that new nothing but we are in our 50 s. We are solid wine drinkers belong to many clubs love our wines and love to collect wide range of wine. We walked away empty handed and disappointed

What a fantastic introduction to Kangaroo Island wines. Every wine we tasted was a winner. The lovely lady who looked after us was so informative. Of the 3 winery’s we visited their product was the best. I will be buying more online.

Had a great experience here and joined their wine club with no reservations. Sofie and Carmel looked after us deluxe with great wine and great knowledge of their wines. Thanks girls, Jeff and Chris.

Had a tasting of the Flagship wines today, served by Sophie. She was very accomplished at making everyone welcome and working the pours, especially as people arrived at different times throughout our tasting. I particularly liked the fizz, Chardonnay and Sav Blanc. Hubby bought a bottle of Sangiovese. It was very interesting to hear the stories of how the vineyard and business was affected by the fires in 2020. So pleased they are still going.

My wife and I arrived later in the day than we planned. Even though they were about to close up Carmen was happy to still go through the full wine tasting experience with us. Likes every drop we tried and enjoyed the story behind all the wines
