Had it at 4 but recently their service and food have stepped up massively! Renovations look fantastic and the menu has taken a big leap. The duck leg was so juicy and full of rich flavours paired very nicely

A few bogans and a bit too much focus on the pokies. Large indoor areas. Very clean. Was a bit frustrated by the people smoking (hiding cigarettes) in the outdoor eating area. The staff were quite aware but did not approach them. Otherwise friendly and quite pleasant with very nice food and a good range of wine.

Brilliant venue however table service is a bonus just like Oakbank Hotel, Crafers Hotel and Uraidla Hotel.
Pulled pork burger was superb alongside with fries and Dijon mustard instead of ranch

After some education, the young bartender made GREAT B52s.lol.had never even heard of them until a bunch of 1988 graduates had a reunion!

Where to begin, this is my go to pub i am here every sunday with my friends, yesterday happened to be the best sunday ever, good vibes it was super busy with decent music and atmosphere, the disappointment was security team (may. Be they came from agency when its busy) never seen them before 2 of them both asian background, we were having really good time and from no where one of the security confronted our table and asked me that i had shown him finger? No idea what he was talking about this is literally out of nowhere, and he was so rude and aggressive his supervisor was on his side i said to him why is he so rude he did not bother to answer, and after that incident i told him not to bother us and leave us alone, he did but he and his mate kept giving us weird look for nearly 1.5 hrs making us really uncomfortable and was trying to ruin our night, every time they walk through they keep staring asif we had done something wrong, at the end when we were about to leave he was waiting for us at the entrance i tried to avoid them but one of his team pushed me (check the security footage) and i do have my friend behind me as a witness, we had heated conversation i called his supervisor wanting apology from his staff but never got one, and we were tired and the situation fizzled out, no one should be bullied please check your security team before you hire, we love this venue we will continue to come in future but please we want to enjoy fullest and safely,

Busy Sunday everything was going well unti security team on the night bullying our group' please don't bring them in when it's busy they disappointed us big time making us very uncomfortable

The Functions team at the highway are amazing, they are so helpful all the way through the booking process and extremely attentive on the day of the function. Linh who Is the functions manager is brilliant to work with she is very organised and offers great suggestions to make your function the best it can be. I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a function/ training space.

Dined in the Bristo, was a great venue. Great Service The kitchen did a fantastic job, the fish was the best fish ive had in a while. Chips were cooked perfectly, Everyone enjoyed their meals I’ll Be Back Thankyou

I wish I took the time to take a photo of my roast but it looked so delicious that I forgot! BEST lamb roast ever. Cooked to perfection with a lovely serve of roast vegetables and mint sauce. My hubby’s pizza looked great too.
Service from all the staff was 10/10.
Can’t wait to bring our boys back for their 18th dinner Monday night.

Good range of beers, staff are friendly, relaxing place for quiet beer. Even a chance if winning a meat tray

It was nice and clean, modern and with good facilities. There is no lunchtime menu which is a great shame.
The beer prices are pretty high but I guess that is to be expected.
The food was nice enough and was fresh and warm

We have been here several times now and they never seem to disappoint. 4 of us had entree, main and deserts and not a single complaint. The bistro is stunning and the staff are organized and prompt. I believe in supporting local especially at this point in time but with honest feedback and this is definitely the place to go.

Recently went for a work function and staff catered to some very strict dietary requirements. Being on a FODMAP diet, it can be very complicated for me to eat out but I had a specially made meal with zero complaints and staff pointed out what I could eat in the share platters. So happy with the service, thank you Highway Team!

I'm a keno player and they don't appreciate it because theirs no revenue for them they don't serve you quick enough to get into The game it's self on missing it I asked why they do this I was told to play the pokies and stop playing keno I told them I enjoy keno they said to go to another venue so I haven't been back because they lack respect

Great service, food and company but very noisy could hardly hold a conversation with person sitting beside me

Beautiful area, great dam wall, nice surrounding scenery, easy access, even for wheelchairs. Many kangaroos along entry roadside.

As a gold plate holder and restauranteur of over 12 venues including one in Noosa at present I found this dining experience just touch over average, very safe, nothing special. Not excellence in service or food or atmosphere but acceptable not bellow par but nothing special, wouldn't bother again just wanted to see what it was like. Fit out is probably stand out.

Had a lovely dinner there. As a vegetarian there is not much choice on the menu, but the haloumi fries were tasty, the portion size is good (it doesn't come with a side dish, only sauce). The presentation of my meal and everyone else's at my table was nice. Definitely a step up from your average pub food. The service was fast, and friendly.

We had a 21st birthday party in May for about 30 people, the food was really good, but the bar staff and the kitchen staff were amazing. Nothing was to hard and they were very helpful.
