The staff are very lovely and the drinks from the bar are great too! I ordered a chicken schnitzel and it was the best chicken schnitzel I’ve had in a while! Definitely check out there cocktails
Ordered cheesecake for dessert and WOW I loved it!

Stopped in for a work lunch. The service was good, the food was outstanding. It has a nice bright, modern atmosphere, I would definitely go back there again.

Close to services, shops, location good, lots of food piled on plate at restaurant, in the room no microwave it would have been nice to have warm milk for cereal

I went to dinner at the Highlander Hotel on a Thursday Night. The Thursday $20 steak special was delicious and value for money. Recently revisited the Highlander for a meal. Great value meals on the menu.

Stayed here for 21st birthday, rooms gd standard, clean and spacious. Service by staff was excellent. Venue for function very gd.

The manager was abusive and rude and threatened a customer who simply coughed and was aggressively dealt with (told to wear a mask or leave and was no mask mandate) I'm 67 and i have never seen, heard or experienced such aggressive and vulgar and unwarranted treatment towards a passive compliant customer in my life, the bar staff are exceptionally friendly and the food was its usual high standard.

Excellent food, very reasonable priced. Heaven for seniors. Very friendly staff. Try it out. You won't be disappointed.

Honestly the only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because the beer was cold and company I was with was good the food on the other hand not the best chicken schnitzel decent size but for $23 and what I was served yeah nah mushroom gravy served in a cardboard cup dressing on top of the salad in a sachet and the bread rolls came out no side plate to put it on or cutlery to put butter on the roll the staff not overly friendly didn’t seem like they wanted to be there.place has so much potential but not with food served up like this

All six people who dined today enjoyed their meals. My wife wishes to commend LAURA for her excellent customer service a great Waitress with a great personality as well.

Great food and an awesome understanding of Coeliac Disease. All chips cooked in their own fryer and cleaned the grill before cooking steak.

Good for a quiet evening drink.

Absolutely disgusting. The manager Mathew is full of himself and treats not me but my family and friends disgusting. Pls avoid this place

Giving this rating due to the motel room not being worth$150 per night, very cold, old bed not up to the standard of $150 but the food was nice but won't be saying there again

Overall really disappointed.
Have come to this pub for years and the foods always been decent but tonight was something else.
Ordered a margarita pizza that was bland and I’m 98% sure it was a frozen pizza base you buy from Coles (floury and hard) It was an undercooked base, with toppings coated so heavy in oil that everything fell off.
My friends who had ordered schnitzels couldnt finish them, they were also bland, overcooked and just plastic tasting.
Sad to see, considering this place has always been great in the past but won’t be back.

Thursday lunch saw us at the Highlander Hotel. It was reasonably quiet there but the dining room is stylish and the atmosphere was very pleasant. The service we received was excellent.

However what really surprised us was the quality of the food and the size of the servings that we received. The food we received for our lunch was absolutely outstanding. The meals were cooked to perfection, the steak and the pork was very tender, the fish was tasty, the roast potatoes and the chips were crunchy and delicious and we could not have been any happier!

Pictured are the fish and chips meal and the roast pork meal. Both are very generous servings and only cost $16 each! The roast of the day was pork and included a large serving of tender and delicious pork, four great roast potatoes, plenty of yummy vegetables, 2 Yorkshire puddings and really delicious gravy!

All of us really enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere and the great food and can't wait to go back again! For a pub meal we haven't experienced such excellent dining for a long time. Definitely 10 out of 10! We couldn't fault the service or the food and the price was an absolute bargain!

Overall was great, service was great and very patient, everything we ordered was beautiful, a couple dishes could of been better on the charcoal plates instead but that's only being picky. The garlic bread was the tiniest bit lacking garlic but tasted beautiful anyway. The renovations are being upheld even though it's been a few years everythings still clean and looking good.keep up the great work and congratulations.:)

Very disappointed, meal had salad & chips, so had to pay extra for veg even though no salad/veg bar any more & they took off the chips & severed veg with salad! Big shame as food was very nice but won't return.

This is a great hotel good service clean rooms, good rates and close to everything that you need.
I totally recommend this hotel it's the best I've ever stayed in.

Worst party experience ever!
Had my daughters birthday party upstairs in private functional room, lead up to it was professional and on the night was a disaster and when i questioned why things weren’t done as promised they would be i was met with attitude and no apology. A number of things went wrong, from video not working my daughter had spent hours on and music list not working she had made herself and i was told to bring in days earlier for testing and when they weren’t working i was told they were too busy and didn’t have time to test and neither worked on the night.
We had 1 waitress for a majority of the night for 140 people, 2 bar tenders that couldn’t keep up. Lights weren’t functioning as told, so my guest that is an electrician had to fix it so that we had lights in the toilet, and to top off we were kicked out at 12, after a warning at 11.45 that told us so, after being told we could stay later if we were spending enough on alcohol but it seems over $3500 on alcohol alone was not enough.
My guests and i ran around collecting food, items and lights etc to make it out on time while we were bullied by security.
Worst experience I’ve ever had in a venue, was all about taking my money as they make you pay everything up front even chased by party planner all night to pay up ahead on tab or no drinks, but no service, would def not recommend!

Fantastic food, stopped there for lunch with the club unannounced, service was second to none and all staff members were very cheerful
