This was the best food I could of ever asked for the food looked AMAZING and tasted even better, the drinks were also good and served chilled, the dessert looked amazing and they have lots of options,
the service was quick espessialy for a busy place everyone had a smile on their face and were so kind this is a beautiful place and a nice and bright atmosphere lots of space and an outdoors area too. 5/5 DEFINITELY coming here again next time we're in South Australia % recommend.

The staff are very attentive which is excellent the food is good quality and excellent portions bathroom also excellent all around great place to take family and friends or children.

We went to The Haus restaurant for lunch. When we arrived we were greeted by a staff member at the steps. She was friendly and welcoming. As we entered the main dining area, we were again greeted by another friendly and helpful staff member.

We chose the duo of wursts and the chicken schnitzel with mushroom sauce. Both main meals were delivered hot and were delicious. For dessert we shared a serve of apple strudel cake.

At the time of our visit it was not very busy. Service was excellent, atmosphere was quite pleasant (the background music may have been a tad loud), and the food was of a high standard.

A great place for a value for money meal and top level service.

Excellent venue and great service. We had breakfast there and food was exceptional. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We had breakfast on 2 of our mornings in Hahndorf. I can highly recommend the nourish bowl it was delicious. Eggs and porridge meals were also very tasty. Great coffee too! All food well presented. Service was friendly and fast. We'd go again if staying in Hahndorf.

We received perfect service from Josh and his workmates.
We were late to our booking time but were still well arranged.
Phone was answered in a timely manner and the late request was accepted.
The table was booked meeting our request.
Wine service was good. Corkage price is reasonable.
We were reminded if we need sharing bowls, if we want the food come together, etc.
Food service was fast, and food quality was good.
Better table service than the neighbourhood.
Multiple payments request was accepted.
Very nice and friendly.
Will sure come again.

Fantastic German food and great service. Had the baked Brie and 5 star German sausage platter. Platter came with the best gravy I’ve ever had and delicious mustard and potato mash. Very filling and good value for money. Recommend trying the schnapps tasting paddle too. Great service even though they were busy.

Had a birthday booking here a place to go back to, great experience the food was delicious the staff are awesome

One of the must go places when visiting Hahndorf

I ordered the seafood platter - I was hungry and 'platter' usually implies a good-sized serving - however, in this case, there were two small fillets of fish and three medium-sized prawns. The rest of my table couldn't help laughing at my plate. The fish & prawns were a little tough but the sauce they were served with was pleasant enough.

One of our party's plates wasn't served until nearly 10 minutes after everyone else's so only one of us was able to enjoy a particular hot meal.

Definitely worth a visit when in Hahndorf. The food was first class, at a very reasonable price. We had arancini balls for appetizer, crispy skin pork belly entree and salt & pepper squid main, all to share. Meals were a generous quantity. A couple of negatives though. We were asked three times within 10 minutes what we wanted to eat, before we had barely sat down to look at the extensive menu. But then the staff disappeared and didn't take our order for a further 10+ minutes. We then asked for entrees to come out first, followed by main to share, but all eventually came at once. Front of house staff were working hard, but a little short staffed and so made mistakes. Overall, very good, but not perfect.

Staff were incredibly kind and helped maintain a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere. The guy who served us was particularly pleasant and friendly. Food was very nice too.

We had a great meal here with our four children. The staff were very friendly and helpful with the kids which was lovely. The food was yummy and reasonably priced. I'd definitely recommend it and will be back.

The Haus, absolutely fantastic food, we enjoyed a couple of different meals here, very tasty indeed, nice relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff that added to our dining experience, you can eat both inside and outside and we are coming back for more

I ordered roast pork with sauerkraut and the pork was very nice. The sauerkraut was absolutely very bland and tasteless. Would I go back, NO I WOULDN'T. It's the worst I have ever tasted. I honestly didn't eat it

Lovely coffee, and always really good cakes here! Staff are friendly and its so toasty warm in the winter. A definite stop every time we come to Hahndorf.

We visited on the 19th October afternoon. Ordered the grazing platter and a bowl of chips.

Food arrived, old, chips cold and oily mayonnaise has formed that layer on top that let's you know its been out of the jar for some time! Salamy rings already sweating having been exposed to heat. Anything but fresh.

I have been to this place heaps over the years, all you need for a bad review is one time when you serve food like that. Absolute waste of money.

Ambiance is nice, Jack was very friendly.
