Very nice place. Much more than your standard, run-of-the-mill public house. Lovely combination of historic and modern, with attractive surrounds.
Staff were great - pleasant, accomodating, and efficient.
Food was still pub food, but definitely at the upper end of the scale. (Maybe a bit chicken heavy on the menu but at least there were still some pork dishes too, which is becoming rarer these days, along with the usual vege, holy cow, and fishy dishes.)

An absolutely amazing outdoor area with great vibes that isn't able to translate these strengths to their food

The first thing you notice when arriving here is the vibe of the place, particularly the outdoor area - absolutely breathtaking

The issue, unfortunately, came with the food. With everything else being incredible, the food was just like any old normal pub. This place would easily be top tier if it wasn't for this

Nevertheless, I think this is a perfect place to come for some drinks and vibes - would highly recommend

What a amazing place to dine. We had a heated booth over looking the dining area. Everything was great. Only one let down, the food wasn't hot.

We went for brunch for Fathers day we ordered the big breakfast that said chorizo as part of the breakfast.meals arrived no chorizo used last year's menu apparently seriously why wouldn't you print a new menu or even put a ordinary sausage.we were offered hash browns as they said they didn't have chorizo or sausages.really come on for $28.00 we wont be back for brunch.the chorizo on the menu was why I chose the meal false advertising

Have come here few times now and haven't been disappointed. Very beautiful place to have a drink and their food is outstanding. They make the process of ordering very easy via your smartphones so you can just keep sitting down and enjoy the atmosphere (and also great for introverts). Staff are always welcoming and attentive. Really recommend this place if you're wanting a drink with a cool atmosphere.

Absolutely fantastic venue! However the menu is quite limited and the food is hit and miss, mostly mediocre. Good place to go for drinks but not so much for an amazing meal.

First time here and very impressed. Fantastic venue, it was atmospheric, spacious and had lots of different spaces. Great for summer or winter. The beer garden areas looked particularly inviting. Also very good service, quick and friendly

Food not good, Thai salad meat cooked twice and tough, ordered a steak and was tough, service okay, everything was pre prepared and reheated for quick service, would not recommend for a meal.

Wonderful place at the foot of the hills with a great setting for dinner. Typical pub fare and good quality.

Discusted in the purest for of discrimination, that I was asked to show my exemption. This is a federal offence of discrimination. After I asked to speak to a manager and supervisor I was told this was the condition of service from upper management. I have been advised by my GP to not show my exemption to anyone as it is a breach of Privacy Act. When is this going to stop, the manager was 30cm in my cafe and cistomers were sitting right next to me without masks, enough is enough. Never going back. Do we need to show paperwork for aids, hepatitis, diabeties

The Gully Public House & Garden is a great local getaway for a piss-up or dining atmosphere. The restaurant features a beer garden, front bar, dining area and gambling room, so theres a multitude of choices for whatever vibes you’re feeling! This is a frequent spot for me and my close friends, as the meals are exceptional quality, fair portions and food pricing. The Southern fried chicken is crispy, with a decadent honey / barbecue glaze with sauce, the parmigiana features a large chicken breast breaded and combined with excellent ham, marinara sauce with side of crunchy chips. The garlic bread is also quite crispy with a perfect amount of garlic chunks and butter. This place is perfect for a Friday and Saturday night place with friends, or just during a weekday for a filling, easy meal. Good selection of alcohol too!

Had dinner in the beer garden. Not that pleasant. Very heavy and dark feeling due to the black paint and dark timber. Ordered schnitzel but wasn't impressed by the quality. Overcooked, strong oily smell and left an unpleasant taste in the mouth. The gravy was watery and tasteless. Overall a waste of money. Not impressed. Won't be back.

Tealia was one of the most helpful, respectful and well presented waitresses at the gully this afternoon.

Very nice inside. Lots of room, clean. Jugs of coke under $10.00 instead of $17. Menu suits all. Good prices. Although need a better specials menu and it changed per month for regular patrons.

Walking into the establishment honestly blew my mind, there is so much to take in but nonetheless it's astonishing.
The environment is welcoming but also adventurous, the food is straight fresh out the kitchen and so so tasty, and customer service is great.

Great feed wonderful generous portion of Roast meat mmmmm yum. Staff very friendly and polite, always have had an excellent dinning experience at the Gully.
