The Garden of Unearthly Delights reviews
45But pricey but I love it. I'd like it of there were a bit less people. Sometimes you Ave to wait very long to go in or get food. But I always love going to the fringe in March:)
Went during the Fringe festival, the place was alive with festivities, variety of shows food. Great ambiance
Great family event. Free to enter. Love all the lights. Decorations and quirkiness of it all. Lots of different types of food and both food and drinks are a good price.
Even though it was a bit confusing lol. I loved the 4 bin system. Shows they are making an effort to be sustainable
Good rides and side shows. We didn't go to a show. We just enjoyed walking around the gardens.
Lots of seating and comfortable seats
All the fun fair in the eastend. I like the concept of open air fun fair. Adelaide festival is not complete without this park with night markets and outdoor temporary amusement park.
Well Atmosphere always great. Plenty of food, drinks and totally wonderful shows on. Toilet facilities good. Tons of food options along with plenty of bars. Plenty for the kids to do and see. Totally recommend the whole experience. A must do. Bring on Adelaide Fringe 2021.
I went here on an excursion at my school went there before it opened to see the scenery, beautiful details my class enjoyed pretending some things. As seeing the photos of the garden when it opens I would really like to go see it with my family, It's nice you get a preview before opens. One bad thing the toilets outside of the garden have inapropritate writing on one of the stalls, the teacher said to not touch anything in the stall I had to go in there I was disgusting, dirt everywhere and there were COKE bottles EVERYWHERE.
Love this place, best atmosphere making it the best time of the year in Adelaide.
So much to do, see & eat.
Just avoid the fri/sat nights if you don't like big crowds
Great atmosphere! With so many events to choose from, there is sure to be something for all to enjoy. Grab your peeps and head down for even just a wander. Loads of food & drink options too
The over commercialised so-called "Fringe" festival had always boasted about this destruction of the Adelaide parklands being epicentre of the entire thing. That may have once been true. Now it's an oversized nightclub where people are openly encouraged to treat the place like its Hindley StreStreet on steroids and maybe see a great show on offoffer. They also make you apply for a media pass if your camera is bigger than a phone. Which makes no sense.
World class festival venue, exansive venue spanning a large park with great food and amazing live performances, open daily til late mid Feb to mid March
Really cool set up, but the prices are ridiculous and most of the food isn't that special. Not worth spending money, just enjoy the people watching.
If you haven’t visited Adelaide during the festival, you are missing a treat.
The variety is fantastic, as is the quality.
The atmosphere is also very grown up: proper glasses, lots of food and booze options, few police and in the 5 years I have been going, I’ve never seen any trouble. Very different from Sydney events.
An amazing event every year. But don't expect the best time unless you have money to spend. There are a few small free things to watch such as entertainers but you will quickly run out of things to do and see if you don't have a show lined up
Great set up this year (2020) with so much to do, see, eat and drink! Great to see old favourites back and some new vendors
Fantastic. Great for families and loads of free entertainment. High standard if food choices as well
Absolutely brilliant - The atmosphere and location was stunning, dreamy views and equally dreamy food. Looking forward to coming back.
It only comes round once a year but when it’s in town you have to come visit it. If you live in Adelaide I’m sure you know what I’m talking about but if you are planning a trip it’s worth coming while fringe is on. The food is great, and there is heaps to do. If you are into rides there are heaps to choose from but I think everyone’s favourite has to be the shows where the options are endless.
A great place to visit for the whole family to enjoy or have a few relaxing drinks with friends. Lots of great Fringe shows to see.
My first time to Garden, bit overwhelmed with all the people, will go back during the day so I can have a real good look.
Carnival atmosphere, wheelchair accessible, however due to the nature of the environment, not wheelchair friendly.
