The Forest of Dreams / Hurtle Square reviews
7It's good of ACC to put defibrillators in their parks, it shows that Adelaide is a progressive city.
This park is not too bad. Atmosphere is chill. A nice little park in the heart of the city, good for a little relax. No bbq water fountain or restroom unfortunately bit a good little park for the center of the city. I would highly recommend checking this place out.
The letters THE FORREST OF DREAMS in metal, approximately 1m tall, one word on each quarter of an intersection within Hurtle Square. Not really overly interesting.
Such a lovely place to chill. The busy road seems to fade away however not great if you have children.
It is just a plain and simple grassed area close to the CBD, with trees which provide invaluable shade in Summer. It is bordered by streets which have high level of traffic.
I vividly remember my first visit to the Forest of Dreams, and my first enlightenment from its beauty. Ode to my childhood.
Today was the best experience at this park, last time someone had't picked up their dog droppings. This park needs needs a dog bag dispenser. Secondly have seen at nighttime multiple homeless living out of vans and in this park. It makes me feel that this park would be unsafe night time. For a park promoting dreams, yes it's green and lush. But for me to rate 4 or 5 council need to make this park better. The other thing that bugged me, sculpture dedicated to pigeons with a water tray on top that doesn't function. Maybe a pathway with engraved history of Adelaide, like example Mayor's, when they held position, or local heroes. It's an underused park and could be great.
