The Flipside Barcade

Cheeky buggers! Ordered the altered beast (double) on Uber eats. Received what I thought would be a filling loaded chicken burger. What I received was 1 tiny chicken thigh coated in batter made into two patty’s. Loaded with coleslaw and cheese. Do better!

Awesome place. Food was just ok.

Good selection of beer.

Overall you don't really go for the food. More a place to hang out and enjoy the pinball machines etc.

The pinball machines were good fun, great selection of deinks too. Disapppinting that we had made a booking but it was never passed on by Josh. And also disappointed in the food. My soutern style chicken burger was so overcooked, and the haloumi fries way too salty to eat.

Disappointing experience. I entered and won a Mariokart tournament. Prize option was a choice of a voucher or box of alcohol. Picked the voucher and was told it would be emailed the next day. Guy was abrupt, didn't ask for name, offer congratulations or anything just took down my email. Gave the f-off vibe which I thought was weird at the time but now makes sense.

Didn't receive my prize. Contacted them couple days later and was told it would be emailed the next day or I could collect from store that day. Couldn't collect, still haven't received my prize and it's coming into second week after the tournament.

Feels like this response is because I'm a female and I won, I can see from other reviews that male winners received their prize on the day which includes voucher and alcohol.

Won't be back or participating in another tournament with this company. Bad customer service and disorganized company. Thanks for turning what should have been a good experience into a bad one.

If you want a good ol' burger and beers with old school games then look no further! Flipside Barcade have so many pinball machines and some old arcade games like Mortal Kombat and car racing! It was like taking a trip down memory lane! It was so much fun. I only wish the Barcade itself was bigger.
It's definitely a place we all would go to again for some food and games. I think they should make this a franchise and have Flipside all over SA! Great idea and great fun!

Such a great atmosphere and so many great games to play.
The Altered Beast (double) burger was massive and delicious.
Smash Bros tournament was great fun and I cannot wait the next one next month. Hanging for a Goldeneye tournament as I missed the last one.
Great service and friendly bar staff.
Loved having the old NBL and NBA games on the screen too.
NBA Jam arcade is one of my all time favourite machines too.
Get down there and get your game on!

This place has a really awesome set up, they do some great deals depending on the day and it's a ton of fun jumping on all the different pinball machines.

Staff are super friendly and passionate too

We hosted an 8 year old birthday party at Flipside and were blown away with how great it was! The kids all had the best time, staff, service and food was outstanding - we were told best chicken people had had!

Eat somewhere else, good for games and drinks only. Food very average and overpriced. And sized for kids.

Great selection of craft beers and other drinks with non stop entertainment for adults and kids.

Exactly what Adelaide needs, pinballs beer and burgers. The pins are in excellent condition and a decent selection, too. They run a good pinball tournament if you want to test your skills or learn from some good players.

Great arcade with pinball, mortal kombat, nba jam and other classic machines including game consoles.

Nice spot for good America food - wings, burgers and fries. Solid choice of craft beers too.

Location could be bigger. Sitting for a meal can be sensory overload back to back with people yelling at the machines.

Service was friendly enough. Good banter and recommendations of beers and tutorials on how to get the most out of the range of pinball machines.

Great venue, friendly staff, nice little collection of pinball & arcade machines, delicious food & easy parking. Perfect place to take the kids & to catchup with mates. Will go back just for the burgers!

Firstly the food and atmosphere was fantastic (Great service and recommendations from staff) Then finished it off with nostalgic arcade and pinball - couldn't ask for more!

I popped in for my first visit on the weekend and I loved it. Great machines and awesome food, the sounds of the pinnies and the atmosphere is great. Ill be a regular for sure.

Fantastic little venue. Great drink selection and prices, however the food was only OK. It has potential, but it was just a little underwhelming and slow to come out but we suspect it was due to visiting on Australia Day when it was very busy. We will definitely be back again soon.

Purchase a altered beast burger it was bad southern style coating was so hard could not bite more like crackling hardly no chicken either, only thing was good was my sons burger, is he even a chef
