The Fish Factory reviews
69 You better, update your timings saying closes at 5pm. What’s the point if your clean up by 5pm. What will the customers buy? Okey I wana buy something’s not packed but doesn’t get clean or cut!
No point of opening till 5: 30!
What is the point of ice, when u put 5 layers of 'freshly shucked' oysters on top of each other, and give me the room temp dozen on the top?
Very friendly Asian staff Rojina? Served me with patience and consideration when I requested to cut off the samon fish bone, and she put them in the double plastic bags with ice with double wrapped paper as well
Just remembered to pick up your ticket for service
One of the best market for fish. Sort of all fish under a roof a market. Friendly staff and quality services.
Brilliant place! Huge selection of fresh seafood, as well as frozen. Friendly people and really good prices. Plenty of free parking on-site.
Whole fresh Australian scallops. Dinner's organised!
Today is Monday @10-19am, l've been ringing all morning, phone is switched off, l cannot get through, for an enquiry.
Huge range of fresh seafood. Very clean with professional friendly staff. We go there all the time
Nice clean fresh smelling fish shop, good organisation inside, brows your seafood then get a ticket
Even with all the people today (Thursday before Good Friday) service was quick, great fish and a huge variety. A huge well done to the management and staff and a Happy Easter to them all.
Well set out shop with friendly & efficient customer service. Great assortment of fresh, frozen, cooked & smoked seafood although if you aren't there in the morning you will likely miss out on the more popular seafood like fresh oysters & fresh local squid. A few fish like flathead were excessive in price in my opinion at $55 a kilo but majority of seafood was well priced.
If you're looking for a seafood shop that has it all, then look no further than this popular spot! With a wide variety of seafood to choose from, you'll be able to find something to satisfy any craving. The prices may be a bit on the expensive side, but it's worth it. The quality of the seafood is top-notch and you can taste the freshness in every bite.
During busy times like Easter and Christmas, this seafood shop can get pretty packed. But don't let that deter you - the efficient staff is great at managing the crowds and you'll still be able to get your hands on some delicious seafood. So if you're in the mood for some high-quality seafood, this is the place to go!
Insanely busy, extremely knowledgeable staff, never seen a bunch employees work so quickly at getting a cue flowing and customers satisfied, bravo fish factory and TEAM.
P. S. THANKS to the young lass, that advised me to pre order in advance when i rang up, she saved me at least a 3 hr cue at 11am.
THANKS Merry Xmas see you in the New year x
Update omgggg the new layout is sooo cool, you can watch as they cook the shell fish, huge points for the metal sea creatures on the wall. Merry Xmas fish factory
Went in expecting value, walked out very disappointed. The prices were shocking. This place is now off my list as it has out priced itself to this pensioner.
BTW.quality was good, just $$$
It's a bit over pricing as compare to my local shop 'Fresh Sea Food' Findon.
Salmon belly fillet -15$ hiked to 21$ now, prawns 28$ at fish factory. I can buy it salmon belly fillet 15$ & prawns 22$ from local sea food.
Same thing with tilapia fish.
I am not going to fish factory anymore
The fish is always fresh, and the staff helps clean the fish in a very good way, the prices are reasonable, try going there, everything is comfortable and the service is great
Very friendly service. Prices vary, depending on what is in.
Atlantic King Claw crab was expensive. Some bargains to be found.
Goolwa cockles (pippis) were frozen so not sure if they were purged or not.
Again, Philippine girl who helped us was awesome.
Not that fresh as it used to me. Recently bought some white baiting and the eyes looked so red with means it’s almost gone!
Now trying to find a different fish shop
PATHETIC!
Once upon a time, this was a very good place to shop for quality seafood and ideal customer service; But NOT any more.
Understaffed and Unfriendly.
Uneconomic and Unethical.
They have introduced a token system now, but they don't follow it properly.
Rude kid, managing the front desk.
Ideal to avoid shopping here!
Amazingly friendly staff, great variety of fresh seafood and quick service. Best place to buy your seafood
This used to be the best seafood shop everytime I visited Adelaide about 4 or 5 years ago. When I went last week, it didn't smell very fresh. I was looking for wild caught fish and found fresher fish in another shop nearby. I would give it 3.5 cause the variety and service are both good.
