The Dutch Pantry reviews
62 Haven't had a chance to come by yet.
But looks fine. Greetings from the Netherlands. Good luck there on the other side of the world.
If you miss Amsterdam and want to sit on the quay with coffee and a croquette, then The Dutch Pantry is the answer.
If you miss Amsterdam and want to spend time at the waterfront with a coffee and a croquette, then go to the Dutch Pantry.
It was interesting to learn about the culture but didn't like how the staff weren't organised.
Incredible food! Everyone absolutely must try the kroketten (croquettes) and poffertjes! Beautifully furnished with lovely decor, an absolute gem well worth a look. Also surprisingly well priced. The little Dutch supermarket in the back is also worth a look. Will definitely be back, thanks for having us.
Fresh eggs at very reasonable prices. Staff are friendly and welcoming. The cafe is also quaint. Parking can be a little difficult.
First time I have stopped and had lunch there. Both me and my friend really enjoyed it. Might come back another time!
Great atomsephere, Great service, food is good, unique place, a bit of Holland in the suburbs of Adelaide
Great food. Friendly service. Love the deco Cosy inside with heaters and blankets. They also have board games for the kids. I had the potato & leek soup, and nasi goreng - which had its own Dutch spin on it.but it was soo yummy! The kids had the croquettes (kroketten) with chips. Which both were great - The chips are very tasty.
Recommended a visit if you are in this side of town
Such a lovely place to get your Dutch fix! The owners did an awesome job renovating and extending the place.
I have been coming to the dutch pantry for years now, my last visit was kings day in April. I don’t feel comfortable going back since then… all the staff were wonderful! But the owner was an absolute sour sob. She ruined it all!
She’s always been so lovely but that day she was rude! I then wrote on their kings day post and said it was awesome minus her mood towards me. My family constantly tag me in your Facebook posts to then see I’ve been banned from commenting…
I honestly find it hilarious that the owner can’t stand a day she put on….
Do not go get angry at customers asking simple questions (:
Haven't been there in a few years.
Difficult to manoeuvre down the aisles, so much stuff and the potential to knock stuff over is high.
Very tight fitting and had to wait quite a while to be served. There was only one person serving.
Lots of delicious treats and prices were not bad.
Took my Mum for part of her 80th celebrations. Awesome service, awesome food, great atmosphere. Thankyou.
Went to the dutch pantry for their Christmas event and was shocked to find actors in black face.will not be coming back.
We’ve eaten here several times. Chips are to die for! This is the only place I actually eat all the chips. My husband always has the kroketten, bitterballen and frikandel. I have the burger. I had a burger once that tasted off but since then they’ve been delicious. Perfect, in fact. It might have been a little over spiced that one. Just didn’t taste right.
They do a lovely iced coffee. We always buy a few bits and pieces in the shop. Mainly kroketten and rookwurst.
The only negative about coming here is the parking. It is basically nonexistent.
Amazing little cafe and well stocked shop, I loved it! A must visit every trip to Adelaide.
Awesome little spot! Only place I know sells duck and Quail eggs as well as countless European imported goodies from snacks to all the ingredients needed for your Dutch, Polish, and/or German dishes. Treat yourself & give them a visit. You won't be disappointed.
The dutch pantry is beautifully decorated. It was such a lovely place to visit and a great way to show the children some food from another country. The food was lovely.
Best coffee, Best food, Excellent friendly service. This is my happy place. I loved it from the moment I entered. The staff are all friendly and professional and will go that extra mile to make your experience one that you will never forget.
A great place, great food, especially if you like cakes, and the atmosphere with the large mural is so very relaxing.
Stunning place, no expense spared. You feel like you are sitting near a canal in Amsterdam. Great variety of Dutch goodies at reasonable price. No Speculaars in the country so couldn't buy any.
