The Dog and Duck

Could not get entry, I had 0 alcohol. My friend and me got another security to ask the security at the gate on why she refused me, she said too many drinks. I was not doing anything stupid or anything at all.

I came here with my husband on our trip away from the kids and decided to come into the city and experience some of the night life of Adelaide. We were expecting a lovely spot to have a cooked dinner at a restaurant. We were NOT EXPECTING a crowed of drunken university students jumping in a club. I will not be reccomending this place to any of my friends. The pictures DO NOT reflect the place WHATSOEVER. We ended up having a pizza as a meal. Disgusting

Could not go in due to wearing a small back pack. I gained entry in another nearby bar after they took a look inside my bag which was fine.

It's ok for the younger crowd. Super sticky floor. But most clubs in town are the same. Clean the carpet

Amazing club. Good staff and security and so many rooms with different music which makes it even better. The silent disco on the rooftop was so much fun

Great club. Light shows are amazing, drink specials are easily the cheapest around. Would recommend to anyone wanting a nightclub to try.

Omg the only good thing about this place is the cheap drinks other wise it's JUST A BOX no room to go anywhere. Staff aren't friendly.

Favourite place in town.really nice drink specials with geaps of disounts and vouchers to be found every night.really nice rooftop if you need a breather with spinning poles down stairs and several dj rooms

Denied me and my friend entry twice for no particular reason on the basis of 'not today guys. ' whilst everybody else was let in.

20$ Entry and $10 drinks. Overpriced and horrible environment.

Assaulted by the bounces for coming close to the door with a drink.avoid at all cost.

It's not bad place for a drink, cheap drinks every Saturday night which is a bonus. Yet the staff are quite rude.

Excellent music, but the service is horrible. The girl was asking me drink water before get my 2nd drink. Fine I did it. Then, she gave a glass of scotch and coke to someone even I paid for it. Guess what my order is a short of scotch. This is NOT EVEN a JOKE!
I told her it's not what I order. She was like "dont be rude to me hon" WTF!

I have had good experiences here however I was refused entry for wearing a poncho in the middle of Festival season. This place is notorious for aggressive staff that don’t care much for patrons safety. Good place to get a cheap red tin however proceed with caution.

Bit of a negative review for the dog and duck. The first time, my girlfriend and I waited in a large line. No issue, I'm a patient guy. We were about to get in to the place when suddenly they close the doors and kick everyone out of the line saying the place is full and we need to go. Now keep in mind that was about a 50 minute wait to get in. After that we had to line up again and wait from the start, but one of the staff thought I pushed in the line for whatever reason and kicked me out, with my girlfriend still in the queue. I told the lady that she punted me out of the line by mistake and left my gf by herself. She goes "not my problem, go to the start of the line". Yeah whatever mate learn how to use your eyes maybe.anyway was willing to give it another chance so I went on a less busy night and all was well, except one of the machines that sent sparks everywhere was leaking hot ash all over everyone and my finger got burned as well as a lot of my friends heads. Pretty poor if you ask me

Brilliant nightclub, decent prices, good facilities, clean bathrooms and plenty of them. Don't go outside after 3AM lockout and don't forget that you can't use your "dog's dollars" after 12AM.

Awesome place for spending time with friends.never danced like this before.wonderful experience and wow can't explain this.but little crowded place for intermediate.

Nice place but small. Good song and cheap drinks. Don't go outside after 3am. You can't go inside after this time.

If you're in Adelaide and want cheap drinks and the ability to party on nights other than Saturday, this place isn't as bad as you'd think. Heard bad things, was relatively pleasantly surprised when I actually went there.

Great place for friends birthday party plans they have a great system for the door entrance,
The fire touch in the second dance floor was an awesome touch to a really pumping club feeling as well as the DJs and hype men are really fun to watch it really is a great place to take people and have a fun night out and meet people to with everything you need food wise really close by it is perfect for a club crawl on the weekend.

Only trouble I’ve seen in dogs, the security were straight on it and diffused the problem straight away. Extremely pleased with their response.
