The Daily Fixx Glenelg

Ate outside on a nice hot summer morning, delicious breakfast and coffee so good I’m going to get a take away as well. My wife found this place somehow, we spent about $22ea so just outside the $1-20 range.

Staff are very welcoming and friendly. Tried the buttermilk pancakes. Sooooo good. Must try. Orange juice was very fresh also.

Food was pretty good. Coffee is delicious. Service is appalling. Just because you are busy doesn’t mean you can act rudely. Waitress came and snatched our cutlery basket off the table while I was eating, no acknowledgement whatsoever, then gives it to another table. When I pulled her up about it, she argues like she hadn’t done anything wrong.
Have never seen such rude behaviour in hospitality.

It’s my local every morning before work, Thomas is an absolute legend of a bloke always puts a smile on my face every morning and makes an unbelievable coffee also!

Poached eggs on toast and my wife had pan cakes with all the trimmings it was beautiful coffee was just what I needed to start my day thanks guys

Recent visit has been very disappointing. Coffee and bacon and egg muffin did not come up to the usual standard. Was this possibly due to different staff? Customer service, on the other hand is always exceptional, making the customer feel that they are important and welcome, however this was also disappointing and lacking, during my visit today. Definitely my last visit, will not return to this place again.

It is a cafe with brunch and lunch located in Glenelg. I had a brunch there. Ordered a coffee and an Egg Benny Remix. The overall taste is good.
One thing is just the salmon was a but fishy and could see from the colour it may be a bit old. Other than that, I like the presentation and the taste overall. So I may give it another go in the future.

Got coffee, breakfast and a strawberry milkshake, all absolutely amazing, can't believe we hadn't noticed it before, the staff are also great with smaller kids running around, will be back on sunday!

Ordered a soy mocha and a peanut butter smoothie with a shot. Worked out to be almost $20! I know it's a public holiday, but still very expensive. The staff were friendly, however the vibe was pretty basic compared to other cafes nearby. The coffee bean was by DeAngelo, and it was a darker roast with a stronger flavour.

Such a friendly and welcoming gentleman greeted us on the way in. It only got better from there, all the staff just so friendly. My poached eggs done perfectly and rye bread fresh and delicious. They went to the extra effort to make everything that perfect temperature and texture. Yummo

We came here new years eve for breakfast. I couldn't fault the service as the girls were all very nice. Unfortunately that's where it stopped.
Coffee was so bitter and possibly the worst I'd had in a long time (couldn't finish it). The breakfast was ok but nothing special and no extra flavour at all. Very bland. Disappointing as this place had good reviews.

Just not for me, had breakfast here with a coffee, drank the coffee ate half the food then walked out, not a great taste experience for me. Egg Benny without the ham so mushrooms were added they looked so tasty the mushrooms but tasted of, well nothing at all just a chewy texture with no flavour at all & the poachd eggs just ran all over the plate, runny white included, I suppose I should have asked for the white to be fully cooked.

Very friendly and superior customer service, excellent coffee and amazing food with a menu that changes. Beautifully decorated and clean! Try the ‘Wake Me Up’ porridge, it’s tantalising, filling and delicious!

Absolutely amazing we had 2 servers of the eggs benny’s. All 4 eggs were all cooked perfectly and couldn’t fault the rest of the meal. The juices were amazing, would definitely recommend and will be back before we leave.

Wow great food, great coffee and bloody fantastic service nothing too much trouble definitely worth the a visit we will be back big thanks to Tom and his wonderful staff

Pleasant cafe, warm & cozy inside with plenty of tables, a few outside too. Good menu with some dietary options, I enjoyed the Gluten Free zucchini pie, with light and crisp hot chips. Good coffee with standard alternative milk options. Prompt and friendly staff chatting with regulars.

By far the best coffee in Glenelg! I come by everyday I’m working for my daily fixx. The staff are wonderful and care about their customers. The food is outstanding. Can’t go without my fixx of coffee from here!
