Hands down the best wine in McLaren Vale! I just know I will never be disappointed with the quality of their wine no matter what vintages. I also love how passionate the winemakers are about their wines and they are super friendly and genuine people. If you want good wine from McLaren Vale, this is a must visit.

Best winery we visited in Adelaide Hills. Awesome service from 2 friendly blokes who had worked the industry their whole lives.
Great wine knowledge and advice on the area, couple cheaky camping spots etc.

What a unique cellar door. The wines are incredible and it’s great that the actual winemaker is the one pouring your tasting! Beautiful view of the vineyards and it was so nice and warm on a chilly winter afternoon. The potato pizza is incredible and the pairing of the Chardonnay was perfect. Must do if your visiting McLaren vale. No pretentious wine talk - just back to the old school style of how customer service And quality food and wine used to be! I’ll be back!

Drove down after having a bottle last night - it was fabulous and they were closed for Vintage.but I heard a noise out back and went around and Adam opened up for a quick tasting and I joined the int club. Thanks Adam - had a La Contessa tonight - it was very good.

One of my McLaren favourites!
On my birthday I brought 4 friends along to duck into The Confessional for a wine tasting. No booking, Adam welcomed us in and we had a fantastic time learning from his experiences. Every single wine (both whites and reds) were great. We have been to a lot of wineries - Looking back it was one of our best experiences & wines. Most of us bought a bottle or more. Have recommended other friends and family.

Great food and great wine. The whole experience is delightful - one of the best in the Vale. We will keep coming back.

No tasting fee and lots of wines to try. Downside was lack of explanation and the wines not up to par in our opinion.

Good rustic vibe and could not find a fault with any of their wines. Both were very knowledgeable and have a clear and apparent passion. Highly recommend the cheese board.

Brilliant afternoon sampling some beautiful wines! The guys were both so passionate about each wine and also very chatty and entertaining. Adam spent much of his time just chatting with us as we were the only ones there for part of our time there. Masie the dog was just gorgeous! Amazing spot in McLaren Vale to spend a sunny Saturday arvo Highly recommended!

This was our favorite stop on a two day wine tour. Adam, Andrew, and Maysie were so welcoming and the wine tasting was the best we had experienced. The quality and flavor was amazing! We will definitely go back! Andrew, thank you for an amazing tasting experience!

What a great place to bring a bus load of people. The guys make everyone feel welcome the minute you step in the door. They offered me as the bus driver a cool drink or coffee to show their thoughtfulness to the person suppling customers. A must visit again. So friendly. Will be leaving this establishment on my list.

The wine at Confessional is absolutely delicious. But the vibe, and quality of service here outdoes them all. Friendly, fun and customer focused.
