The Cinnamon Club Indian Cuisine

Cinnamon Club team member's attitude towards ubereats drivers is horrible. They do not understand that everyone is working with time and time is money. They make you wait for way more than 15 mins and when confronted about the same, they simply say that its not their fault, restaurants like these are always like this and slam the door on your face. Not all fine dining restaurants provide such rude behavior towards ubereats drivers. Lets please change this attitude and understand how time is money and that every ubereats drivers is also trying to get the restaurants food delivered on time with the utmost care, making your restaurant look good even while delivering.

Poor customer phone service from the start! Rude and rushing the food explanation. Flat dry Naan bread, way too spicy rogan josh & potato dish. Butter chicken lovely but was all we could eat. I thought Cinnamon Club was classier than the expensive food we ordered. Not keen to go back sadly.

We went there for lunch around 1.40 pm. As most of the reviewers have said, the service was really bad. Not friendly at all. The moment we entered, the lady at the cashier said they’re closing at 2.30pm. We acknowledged. While we were having our lunch, again came by 2.15pm and said they’re closing at 2.30pm. It was a simple message asking us to get out soon. As soon as we finished our dishes, we had to leave because the woman at the cashier kept standing at the table until we got up.

We ordered biryani and chai tea. The food was really good. Street parking available. But we won’t get back to this place because we went there to pay and eat. Not for free food. Having said, food is expensive there.

Food was great, service by the girl from South Indian was the best I ever had. The best Indian restaurant in South Australia and highly recommend.

A very disappointing visit to a trusted restaurant.

It was a busy night - the stress test that sorts the men from the boys restaurant-wise - which they failed, this time.

The starting cocktails were indeed special (see the photos), probably even worth the almost $20.00 - but we did need to wait for one.

We made it simple for the kitchen - 6 Chef's Choice Banquets - 2 medium spice and 4 mild spice.
Vegetarian entrees were lovely and nice and hot.
Meat entrees were both chicken but luke warm. The tandoori had medium spiciness but the crumbed chicken was significantly spicy - one person could not eat it at all. When mentioned to the waiter she apologised but said it's because they are pre-made, so spice can't be adjusted. It seemed an odd idea to her that the chef should have sent a different entree in that case.
In recognition of the issue and with their usual good service, a mild butter chicken was provided as a replacement with our mains.

The mains took a long time to come and could not be considered more than tepid.
Along with the group platters came the just warm garlic naan. "Let me know if you need extra naan or rice". Eventually we managed to
flagged down a waiter because we had NO rice.

By now our 6pm booking had stretched out to 8: 00 and we were full, so when we were told to let them know when we were ready for dessert, we said we'd like it as takeaway, please. Not a problem, just tell us 5 to 10 mins before you leave. Which we did 5 mins later, then 15 mins later, then again 10 minutes later when we left the table to pay (where somebody in our party forgot about our discount voucher, but they weren't prepared to reverse out the transaction so we could use it - fair enough, our fault). We continued to wait for our Gulab Jamun which was nice and went beautifully with our drinks at home, but had taken us through to leaving after 8: 30.
*sigh* I guess we won't need to wait another 70 years to enjoy the next coronation given we missed this one.

Loving their new winter menu especially the vegetarian dishes. The service is good and there's plenty of free street parking

Had tried in past and was good so thought of going in again, raw half cooked lamb chops, were replaced with burnt chops, chicken platter had merely three pieces, hyderabadi chicken briyani had no salt and no flavour in it.

What a joke of customer service and food has become now.
Not visiting again.

We ordered vindalo and paneer with Rotis, customer service was average - nothing special or on a good side.

My wife started vommiting after going home and me and my friend who was with is we both got bad stomoach now.we really think its a food poison.

Starter was great and fresh, but both curries was not fresh at all and we think chicken might be undercooked and gravy was old. I hope we get better - we didnt spent $150 for this. Very unhappy and never going back and not recommending to anyone.

This was formerly my favourite local Indian take-away.
3 stars because it wasn’t awful, it tasted fresh enough.
The rice was fine, the roti was good, the saag paneer was ok.
But the samosas were quite cold and had no spicy flavours, and my favourite dish the mustard moilee fish was both light on for fish AND spices. Nor was it anything like medium heat! Very bland!
Don’t know what’s happening in this place recently, but nothing good has happened to the kitchen.
After eating here for so many years I’m wondering if I’ll ever try them again!

This shop has very bad coustemer service I was also disappointed in the shop owners attitude. In my opinion I think Aldi has better coustemer service than this shop.

I have tried a couple of Indian restaurants but Cinnamon club tops the list so far. Every dish was a hit back to back. Service was excellent. We enjoyed our family dinner.

The vegetable samosa was still cold and soaked in oil, the Hyderabadi chicken biryani was soo dry and unpleasant, the chicken tikka masala smelt and tasted like seafood. My partner and I only had a couple spoons full of it all and threw it away. The only thing that was nice was the plain rice.
The docket says I ordered at 7: 25pm
I paid $51.30 for it and I feel it was totally a waste of money. I had a bad experience a few years ago and again tonight, so I will definitely will not be back again.
Please look into making the meals with love and you might be busier.

Excellent take away meal tonight tandoori prawns, chicken saagwala, spinach dal and gulab jamuns. Really fresh, tasty and hot and generous serves. I have never been disappointed by this restaurant. I appreciate the freshness as I always order several dishes and they last me several days.

Tried almost all Indian restaurants in Adelaide, still cinnamon is my fav.

Slightly expensive then others.

Nestled on the streets of Henley beach, is this beauty that serves some of the best Indian cuisine I have tasted in a while. It's a cosy restaurant with some beautiful ambience and equally delicious food. We ordered the Chicken Tikka Biryani and Paneer Makhani with Plain Naan.
The chicken tikka biryani had some of the softest and tender pieces of chicken, with the flavours complimenting one another. It's also quite rare to see so many pieces of chicken in a Biryani which we all absolutely loved. We ordered three single servings and that was fulfilling. You also have the option of sharing between 2 people.
The Paneer Makhani was equally great with the paneer melting in your mouth while the flavours dance as you chew. That was an experience.
All in all, this is a highly recommended restaurant for when you want to satisfy your pangs for Indian cuisine. It's definitely worth the price with adequate quantity.

Food Taste really fresh. Tried thier Spinach kofta curry and Kashmiri Naan bread. It was really really Yummy. Food didnt upset my tummy at all. Location is near by beach as well. If you are visiting Henley beach definatly check this Indian place Everyone.

P.s. For Take away Naan bread if you can cut them in half or quaters can be easier to eat on the run.

Slow phase environment, waited more than hour for the dish and left the place with empty stomach. Never gonna visit again. Terrible service.

We are always welcome by Mr. Raj whose gives best service to his customers, in the Henley beach branch with smile. Their food is delicious whatever is ordered. Though, we are vegetarian, but we find all the veg menu to be delicious as we have tried everything. The rest of the staff is so polite and best, especially Mr. Sachin who is so customer orientated.

I do recommend and will definitely go there again if I be there in Adelaide. Added one reason to be happy witj my Adelaide trip.
