9 I ordered a small chips for my father and my 4 year old son… $6 for the small order and from the bag displayed on the wall that should have been enough. Unfortunately, when receiving my order, the paper it was wrapped in weighed more than the chips and I had to go back and get another small order of chips so I paid $12 for what I think would be a full small bag of chips (the one that was displayed). The lady that was working said she had been instructed by owners on what to provide per order.
I understand the current environment for food costing but, this was utterly ridiculous!
The chips here are really good, nice and thick and overall just really nice, though they are a little too salty. The chips and chicken yiros thing (not sure on name) was also really really nice. Prices were average but quality makes up for it easily.
Great chips, great location, great chicken, great fish, generally positive service and atmosphere
Worst takeaway ever! Fish overcooked, chips old and stale and the only flavour the lamb yiros had was salt. Threw most of it in the rubbish and made a sandwich instead. Just awful!
Best chips in all of Adelaide! Food is always fresh with very reasonable prices. Not to mention, the staff are always lovely!
Wow fake reviews what a joke fish was old dry burger had no cheese or onion, stale bun and the vinger tartare chips were ok never agian.
Went tonight based on reviews. Sadly very disappointed. The gravy was so salty and heavy all over meals, that we couldnt taste anything other than salt. The onion rings were also very oily and heavy on batter. Most of the meals had to be thrown out ️
The food is delicious I especially enjoy their yiros probably the best in Adelaide great service and friendly staff so if you want crispy chips fish fritters and salads then this is the place for you.
