Been going here for years and can't speak highly enough. Great food and excellent customer service.

Truly excellent burgers. I thought that perhaps the art of the great hamburger with the lot was lost, but this place has restored my faith. $10 seemed a bit steep at first but it was pretty bloody big so definitely worth it. Also the guy there is a top bloke - he accidentally overcharged us and we didn't notice at first but when we got back he remembered us and gave us back our correct change.

I won’t lie, their burgers are Amazing. The chicken is average, no different than getting it from a supermarket just more expensive. Salads are good. Chips and Fish are soggy & tasteless. The main reason I have given them 1 star is because their customer service skills are beyond appalling. When you call to tell them that you’re not happy with the food they talk over you, put the blame on who they get their produce from and abuse you. I had a bad experience with them a couple years ago and didn’t order from there for well over 18 months because of the way they spoke down to me. Then I started ordering again from them 6 months ago because I missed the steak burger. But numerous times I’ve not gotten what I ordered and paid for. Tonight’s experience is the last straw and I will not be ordering my food from them ever again. I asked for chips very, very well done and I get barely cooked, soggy, tasteless chips that I wouldn’t even feed to seagulls. When I call to tell them I’m not happy he talked over me, told me it’s because of the farmers that the chips aren’t cooking properly (I’m not an idiot so I know that’s total B. S!) and then he abused me and hung up on me.
If good customer service and satisfaction is important to you then Definitely do NOT go to Chicken Home. Hands down it’s the worst business I’ve ever dealt with.

Do not go here, ESPECIALLY if you are disabled or know someone who is disabled! Someone had refused service to an individual with an assistance dog (which is ILLEGAL), and continued to verbally abuse her. This is absolutely disgusting behaviour.

Never again will I order from here, the chips have no salt on them so if you go here for chips tell them to put triple salt or you’ll end up wasting your money on bland soggy chips. -. -

Robbie and the crew are an exceptional bunch of people. Best service and food in the North East in my opinion!

Great customer service and I cannot fault the food here hamburger are absolutely delicious as is the other food. I have not had a bad meal from here yet. Highly recommend this little gem of a store

Awesome service polite friendly clean would recommend them to anyone. Potato fritters were a bit greasy so won't buy them again but the rest of the meal was nice enough to continue going there.:)

These guys are amazing.
Always friendly service, food is always cooked perfectly, the sneaky little extra chips are always a win, prices are reasonable which just tips them off. We can't fault

This chicken shop is the best i have entered in so many years. GREAT tasting fresh salads, bbq chickens i've never seen let alone purchased, so BIG, swollen and bursting with everything supermarket bbq chickens always fail miserably to tantalize the pallet with.
GREAT friendly service, super clean, not inexpensive as this level of quality and value can only be. WELL WORTH THE VISIT, highly recommend.

Good quality food for a great price. We have tried a lot of chicken and chips places and this is the one we just can't get enough of. Friendly staff and are very quick at getting food out.

My Local Chippy. Not a bad feed, Friendly Staff and Always Busy. Place has been in business for 30+ years at the Modbury location and really hasn't disappointed me in all those years. Give it a go Ladies and Gents, support a Local SA business!

This is undeniably the best chicken shop in Adelaide. My family has seen this shop change hands mutiple times over the past 3 decades but the quality of food and service has always been exceptional. The staff are always friendly, the shop is meticulously clean and the food delicious and fresh. The salads are amazing, especially the tabouleh. Serving sizes are consistently generous and great value for money.

I got the surprise $1 surcharge. I queried why. I was told it was because I asked for my chicken to be cut up. I wasn’t informed at the time of ordering that asking for my chicken to be cut would result in a surcharge of 25 cents a cut. I honestly wonder if this practice is even legal. Certainly left a sour taste in my mouth
