Will never buy anything from here they brought smoshed birthday cake and asked what's wrong with it it was smooshed so asked for a new one spent half hour in shop even tho we ordered online

I purchased an “off the shelf” Double Chocolate Strawberry Torte for a birthday dinner with the help of the shop assistant.
The cake was moist, melt in your mouth and was enjoyed by everyone who ate a piece. Certainly served it purpose. Thank you

If I could give 0 I would worse customer service ever very rude and unprofessional how there still open with the service they provide is beyond me absolute joke get new staff because they are terrible

The most disgusting service I have experienced in a very long time. Caitlyn was extremely rude and not helpful. Requested a receipt and was told one could not be printed. Orders One full cake and One quarter cake. Was sent the wrong quarter with a hand written note "Don't have what you wanted, so gave you this. " When I called the store due to errors and tried to solve the problem.was told "it is what it is"

Rude and Disrespectful. I am still in shock at the treatment I received from one of the staff members this morning. She swore, was unprofessional, unhelpful and made me feel like I was making her life hard for ordering cake with message. Reading the previous comments it seems this rude behaviour is to be expected at the Gawler Cheesecake Shop. I do not feel happy about my purchase and will go elsewhere from now on.

Placed an order by phone and it was exactly what I had requested.
There are a few problems with their website however, making ordering online difficult.

Helped me so well over the phone with a late order I got wrong. The person on the phone was lovely, helpful and cheerful, end of the day on a Saturday in lockdown.

Ordered a cake online with a personalised disc, on pickup they could not find my order. Lucky they had one of the cakes i ordered in stock, they then replaced personalised disc with a plain 'happy birthday' disc. Since i was charged for personalised disc i asked for my money back, the lady rudely grabbed $5 out of register and slammed it on the counter before walking out the back. Will definitely not reccomend this place!

Disappointing order a pavalova Easter Sunday and no soft centre all hard crust and a inch thick cream I will mark my own next time waste of 30 dollars

This place use to be great with timeframes on cakes and hit nail on the head with exactly what you need the last cake for my child's birthday wasnt a pleasant experience from ordering to the final product, was not the same person I've seen in the past the young lady was rude and didn't do what we requested not even a happy birthday in colour we asked for and agreed on and quality wasnt that great in terms of presentation after not being able to make the simple cake we originally had asked for with over 24hrs notice was not happy this time around after using store for last 7 years i hope this is just an average worker and new under new management and is a new normal.

Very clean shop attended to as soon as I entered, very helpful engaging easily in and out in short time.carrot cake one of the best I have had.highly recommend.

Derek was an amazing help with my partner and I picking out a birthday cake and made the experience incredible! Extremely funny, happy and friendly service and will be using the Cheesecake shop for all our needs from now on!

Always get our cakes from Cheesecake Shop Gawler. Great service & great cakes. Apple & Pear cake is my favourite!

The cakes looked lovely, but unfortunately the Mud cake was dry. Also the French Vanilla cheesecake was more like a vanilla mousse. At $27 each I had hoped for better quality.
