The Candy Store & Dessert House

Despite the cafe seemingly being run by kids, the service was good and the food was reasonably priced and quite delicious. If in town, we would call again.

A simply a beautiful spot. My kids absolutely loved the pick and mix Lollie wall and I was equally impressed that this is an 'Inclusive Workplace'! This gives me hope for my children's future ️

Had a lovely homemade sausage roll and iced coffee. They were delicious. Staff were friendly. Noticed that this cafe also has a full range of Golden North icecream, so will be back to try this another time. They have a lovely selection of lollies as well.

Grabbed some ice cream cones for the kids and takeaway coffee. Great range of ice cream flavours! Good coffee also. Cafe is clean tidy and well presented.

If you’re looking for value for money food this was not it. Food was ok (pulled beef burger, kids chicken nuggets), but when you pay $10 for nuggets and chips or $18 for a burger and chips, we didn’t expect chips cooked in an air fryer that were beyond dry.

What a great atmosphere and the range was sensational, I had the breakfast burrito and I loved it enough to fill me up but didn't over do it.

Disappointed in the serving size I received for the $17 smashed avo, especially when the photo of the smashed avo online & on the store tv is nearly twice as big!

But the iced coffee was perfect & perfectly priced

Classic little store. Bought back memories of a childhood long ago. The kids loved it also.
Pancakes and coffee are to die for.

A cute little sweet shop and cafe in a town with not a lot of great food. I had a dessert shake which I felt was obscenely priced for what it was, so I can't recommend those. However, most of the other menu items looked reasonably priced and I would definitely come back here again, if I was in town. Plenty of candy and chocolates to takeaway. Staff were lovely.

Came to this venue for some breakfast on a Sunday morning. It was pretty busy. The ladies that work here are very polite and welcoming. The prices are very reasonable and I can highly recommend the bacon and egg muffin that comes with s hashbrown - it has a kind of bacon jam that is really nice. Coffee was also good.
There is a wide selection of sweets and chocolates plus toys to purchase.

Lovely breakfast, the pancakes and breakfast muffin were fresh and delicious. Hot chocolate was spot on. Friendly, prompt service.
