The Brompton reviews
79 Great service, with a smile.
It was hot because of the kitchen renovation.chef was on his phone.
No kids menu at all.
The plates were cold so ur food got cold.
I ordered grilled chicken salad. But got boiled chicken, was very disappointed about the menu as it didn’t have the basic of fish & chips and snitzel and fish.
Food excellent. My Barramundi was superb and all my guests meals looked amazing and everyone loved their selection.
My bubbles was flat, instantly replaced. I thought the white wines could have been colder
Service was friendly. Attractive staff
I loved the new decor.
It was great overall
Great lunch and worth going there for sure. I had oysters, steak, greens and a few other bits and pieces. All was exceptional.
The reno of the reno is really good as well making the environment very relaxed and quality.
Very impressed! Renovations are really beautifully done. Could definitely see myself spending more time here for sure.
Mum and I went there for dinner tonight. Excellent service, food and prices. 100% highly recommend dining there.
Great food & wine choice at a range of prices. Service was excellent. Recommend booking booths in the restaurant as a much better ambience to where we were seated.
The food was INCREDIBLE. It came beautifully presented, piping hot and in abundance. The choice caters for everyone and many condiments are made on site. The carpark is spacious making it easy to get in and out. I would return in a heartbeat.
Very disappointed that the Brompton has put on their FB page that their open when clearly they are closed. Shame …. Had some very enjoyable moments and dinners there …. Will have to find another local!
Delicious food and quick service during lunchtimes. Would recommend for a work weekday lunch. Will visit here again
We had an enjoyable Sunday dinner at the Brompton. There was practically no one there so we were easily seared. The stone grill steak was tender and tasty. Friendly service and would like to try on another night when it has a bit more atmosphere
Lovely little cosy pub, with friendly courteous, attentive staff. The meals were very reasonable prices. Not expensive compared to other pubs.
The steak was cooked just they way I asked for it, and huge servings.
Lots of places to sit for a drink after your meal.
Would recommend this pub!
Jackson saved the day! Booked for 10, he saved the day last Sunday! Thanks so much! Food fabulous
It was lovely. Although I was disappointed in the size of the coffee mugs. The Latte was great but was expecting a bigger size mug. The Staff and food was great and the prices were great too
?
Staff were very nice and welcoming.
The food was really good and filling.
Had a good giggle, even with people on the next table, they seemed to enjoy the conversation on our table.
We both had the mushroom gnocchi and it was stunning. We started with the trio of dips which we shared and that was a generous serve. The only problem that we had was I asked for a quiet table and they sat us next to the loudest group of four people I have ever come across. I couldn't wait to leave unfortunately! Two stars for ambience and five for food.
Just enjoyed the melt-in-your-mouth handmade gnocchi for lunch. Excellent service. Hidden gem. Near my office, I’ll be back
Poor service but great schnitzel.
Service started out well but fell off completely after we got the dessert menu. We had to flag down a server to order. 25 minutes later we asked about our dessert and another server said there was no ticket. We had to order dessert again and it came out 15 mins later with a cold mud cake.
Only reason I'd go back is for the schnitzel and chips. They were both fried perfectly with the right amount of seasoning and no greasiness.
Only 6 customers there when we arrived. Took them over half an hour to get the meals out to us. Salad didn't even have tomato or cucumber in it. Who decided salad was just lettuce, a few slivers of carrot and a little bit of onion? Snitchel was hot and tough, chips were cold. My first time and last.
The Brompton is a great place to meet, eat and enjoy a drink. Food and service is second to none.
The dining area is quiet and well lit with natural light.
A cosy spot by the fire is a lovely way to relax on a cold winters day.
