The Bellagio reviews
37We stopped in Kadina for a few hours to have lunch and a break on our drive home from a camping trip. We ordered pasta and a pizza. The food, restaurant atmosphere and service were great.
Went here recently while on holidays and must say the food was delicious and one of the best Italian restaurants I've ever been too. The only negatives would be that the music was way too loud and one of the waitresses looked like she didn't want to be there and looked miserable. Overall, very happy and highly recommend the prawn shared entree and the pizza which was absolutely yum.
We saw this restaurant on South Aussie with Cozzi and he along with other reviews highlighted the quality of true Italian food.
It appears that it is now under new management and I think the Italians have left the building. Unfortunately did not live up to expectations. The spaghetti marinara was very average and the Paella was over cooked and very very dry. The mussels were shrivelled and the whole dish had no moisture. Basically the dish was returned to the chef stating it was too dry to eat. (Paella cost $35) The waitress advised this was how all Paella are cooked in the pan. The point was it was overcooked! So unhappy with meals and that they could not accept constructive feedback.
What a great place this is -the food was high quality especially the paella and the service was brilliant-I highly recommend this restaurant and in Kadina how convenient it was - Thankyou to the team at Bellagio
Went out for lunch with family. Exceptional food and service made it a memorable experience for us. Definitely coming back and recommend it to everyone.
I eat here every Friday night, the pizzas are my absolute favourite, but I also love the beef and lamb ragu. The staff are very personable and always put the customer first. Love the place and would always recommend.
Dinner discussed between all, agreed that it was average… local pub meal recently ran circles around out meals tonight. Fish was over cooked, Chicken schnitzel was processed…. Overall expensive for what was delivered.
Service was quite reasonable though.
Yum! Got takeaway yesterday and it was all so delicious. The prosciutto schiacciata was just perfect!
My partner and I came in for our anniversary and we were very happy to hear from the lovely staff member that they could provide us with vegan options for lunch. So that day I ate the most delicious risotto I've ever had! We also got a GF pizza with vegan mossarella. Service was fantastic, food was delicious, overall, a lovely place to dine. Thankyou!
Great staff and resultant is nice! Food was tasty but on the small side! Which isn't bad for me but don't expect a mega serve
Great food and service. Just a pity they didn't have spaghetti for the bolognese. But the homemade fettuccine was magnificent.
Don't bother ordering a takeaway for lunch. You'll be overcharged and not given salad, and it isn't like it is when you dine in. I was charged more than advertised price, and it wasn't even nice. NEVER AGAIN
Best pizza I had on the Yorke Peninsula, Bellagio pizza dough churros are a great way to finish up a wonderful meal. Pasta's were also delicious and staff were friendly.
Amazing food, friendly staff and a warm atmosphere. The pepperoni pizza is to die for. We loved it so much, we came back the next day (driving 100km), just for the pizza.that good. We will definitely be dining here in the future with the family.
Bellagio staff were very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was warm and I felt comfortable in the restaurant. The meal was great. I will definitely be going back.
Beautiful food and excellent service! Andrea and wife made the effort to meet us and even I scored a nice little birthday treat! Definitely returning in summer! Pays to support your own!
Lots of space for social distancing. Great pizzas. Service can be a little slow. The food is good though.
Bellagio's give a welcoming entry and vibe to what seems to be a nice authentic Italian experience. The decor is very nice and service friendly and warming. What lets Bellagio's down is what we are there for, the food. From visiting Bellagio's 4-5 times, I can't seem to walk away with a positive food experience. The pizza is quite basic, where a more flavoursome one could be made at home. The chicken pasta had that reheated chicken taste, with the sauce not providing a fresh tomato flavour. Once we ordered a ravioli special off the menu, sounded delicious from what the waiter described and we were excited to taste it. We could not believe the lack of flavour and sauce in the dish; lacked simple things like saltiness, garlic flavour, spice, herbs and sauce! It was ravioli with oil basically. I hope for a great experience at this place in future, but I believe improvements need to be made in the ingredients.
Adelaide restaurant comparison: Brunelli's and Caffe Aqua Mount Barker.
Beautiful food; excellent service even in such hard times; both owner and partner made the effort to meet and greet us; i was lucky enough to get a nice little birthday treat! Definitely coming back in summer!
My meal of garlic prawns was lacking in garlic and prawns. They weren't busy but waited quite a while for meal. Price was good.
