The Barossa Valley Cheese Company reviews
60Fascinated to hear the story behind each cheese on our tasting plate ($5 plate!). Staff was warm and professional. Most importantly the products speak for themselves. We thoroughly enjoyed the diverse flavours of cheese here. We left with cheese and snacks for the night. Fantastic Place.
Welcomed with a warm smile and the service was really good. Best cheese and affordable too!
Great curated range of their own, local and imported cheese, not huge but covers a lot of styles.
Tastings of their cheeses and views of the production floor and aging room.
$25 buck for a cheese tasting with 4 tiny bits of cheese and 2c worth or generic rice crackers? We have the money to pay for this, but absolutely object to being ripped off, get real people! It cost less for 12 selection of wine tasting.
Appealing in appearance, a cute little shop packed full of scrumptious cheese. Staff very friendly and helpful. Perfect.
Beautiful little shop, helpful staff and great cheeses. Purchased the cheese platter and added on some Bretwurst as suggested by staff which was an excellant choice. A must do place to visit when in the Barossa.
Lovely products, we always make a point of stopping here, they even cater to our vegan friends.
Great customer service and amazing cheese platter with perfect parings. It's a shame I live in another state as I would eat this cheese daily if it was available in my area.
Thank you for such an amazing experience.
Theo ly cheese shop in the area. Sells their own locally made cheese and some interstate and international cheeses. You can get a small cheese platter tastings or have a wine and cheese. Friendly and helpful staff as well as seeing the cheeses being made. Very enjoyable.
Really great shop in Angaston, lovely young friendly staff and we were given a lovely selection of cheeses and condiments. Would highly recommend to anyone.
Just bought their Camembert cheese to try. I'm impressed, it had a lovely texture & wasn't excessively salty.
Provide 4 biscuits for the cheese tasting as some people think this adds to the cheese. Would cost you all of 10 cents at a max.
Cute little cheese shop in a beautiful town. I’m not a big cheese eater but I found the cheeses very tasty. A very nice break from all the wine tasting.
Cheese was nice however tasting platter didn't come with any biscuits which seems ridiculous for such a small additional cost. We wouldn't eat cheese on it's own at home so it doesn't make sense to serve it this way if you're wanting to increase sales.
Yummy Cheese and knowledgeable staff. Very cute shop too!
I love the fruit growing outside
We loved this place. The lovely lady at Lou Miranda winery told us to come and we are so glad! Lots of yummy goods. We came home with a few cheeses and some chocolate goodies. Freeze dried strawberries are my fave! Our family loved the washed cheese we took over at dinner. Will come again for sure!
Been here a few times before. Wonderful cheeses and produce. However I take exception to paying an EFT tranaction fee. When I asked the staff member why, she had NO clue. My money from MY savings bank account not CC. Disappointing to be charged a Fee.
Lots to choose from. Not only cheese but chocolates, chutneys, nuts and much more. Did the $5 tasting plate. Bought a variety of products. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Recommend a visit.
Their cheeses are just amazing. After the tasting platter, we ended up spending a small fortune on cheese. The prices are reasonable, but we bought a bucket load. We ended up eating most of it for supper, but it was meant to go back home with us after the holiday. I wish we had bought more.
