The Aussie Inn

This is the second visit to The Aussie Inn on Christmas eve for dinner and both times we have been really pleased with the food and quality of service especially this time with a young man named Noah who was polite and cheerful making our experience even better.
Our traditional Christmas dinner of turkey was excellent, tasty, hot, presented nicely and we enjoyed every delicious mouth full. We do have meals at The Aussie Inn occasionally as we are local and have never been disappointed but Christmas eve was excellent.

My uncle and was visiting from Broome and was staying at at Mick Oshea's so we originally had a booking at Mick Oshea's purely for convenience purposes but after being sat at a filthy table and told to clean it ourselves and then waiting in line for almost 30mins to order just our drinks due to incompetent staff and overbooking (which thry do ALL the time sobthey look busy) and the queue to order food flowing out the front restaurant I rang the Aussie Inn and was told they would have a table of 8 waiting for us within 15mins.
When we arrived our table was clean, set and ready for us.
The place itself was cool, inviting and clean unlike Mick Oshea's which was dull, hot with no air flow and unclean/cluttered.
We were seated right away and able to order our drinks and meals within 20mins where the servers were extremely nice and ensured we were happy throughout our meals.
I can definately say that the Aussie Inn is one of the nicest pubs in the southern area with affordably priced meals that are quality sized and absolutely delicious!
The enclosed playground for the children is an added bonus in keeping the lil ones entertained whilst parents can feel safe that the children have a safe and secure place to play.
Love the Aussie Inn and will definately be going back again

Had lunch there for my birthday. First ever time there. I'll be back. Great staff, great food, clean, open, and airy. Very impressed.

Had a wonderful meal here with the family. Food came out quickly and was delicious. Definitely recommending to friends and family

Went there for dinner and drinks with friends. All staff were pleasant and helpful. On a table of 10plus people everyone enjoyed their mains some even getting desert. Chefs special calzone was nice. A little more filling in it would have got them a 5 star.

Gave 2 free desserts instead which we couldn't eat!
White chocolate cheesecake was so old? Shockingly tough and tasteless!
With a gross passionfruit syrup which was inedible!

Husbands fish/seafood dish (the fish was actually full of scales) the calamari was beautiful as were the scallops

The wife had garlic prawns. Nice amount of prawns. But very small amounts of rice compared to other places in the area

Amazing food! Finally local, friendly so tasty! Can't give this place enough praise. Hats off to the whole team especially the kitchen keep up the good food.

Our farewell dinner for 14 people at The Aussie was amazing! The staff were top class - thank you Erin, Elizabeth, Hamish and Ella for your hospitality - you guys are fantastic! Massive props to the kitchen staff for 14 flawless meals!

Second time going to The Aussie in and the food was still amazing along with great customer service.

Hamish is an absolute star and a credit to this pub. The food is great but his service trumped anything close. The world would be a better place with more customer service like this!

Food was not bad but as we were seated at 7: 15 we were told the kitchen closes at 8 and to hurry up and order. Could have picked my jaw up from the ground. Not great service. Staff seemed depressed to be at work.

Great atmosphere… staff were very friendly and loved the kids which made the evening so much more enjoyable. I had the best steak cooked anywhere. Honest. I like it blue and it was blue. There is a great team here.

The best lamb shanks, Salad bowl and taco bowl we have ever eaten. The service is friendly and efficient.

Fantastic family pub! We are becoming regulars due to the delicious food and great vibe! Brilliant value for money! Very friendly and accommodating staff!

It's a gamble on the staff on duty as to wether or not they are the good ones or the rude ones.

Haven't been at hotel for years. Great meals clean friendly staff will be back with family show.

Absolutely fantastic all 5 meals were different and were so good. Mexican beef shnitty was damn good!
