Wednesday lunch, not busy, poor service no offer of more water or would you like another drink, but, wanted to clear plate with dip and crackers time and time again while we were still eating

We arrived mid afternoon for a drink. We were greeted promptly and shown to a table. While the lounge is pleasant, the fabric chairs were badly stained, not quite what you'd expect from such an upmarket venue.
The waiter was friendly and we received our drinks. Before we had the chance to order a second drink, our tab was presented to us for payment. We left shortly afterwards.

Nothing better than checking into your hotel, dropping your bags up to your room then heading downstairs for that first weekend away beverage.
Ordered the largest Heineken available and it didn't dissapoint. Super cold, super crisp and thirst quenching.
The Atrium is a great open space with loads of natural light and was open till midnight which was handy as we grabbed a night cap when we got back from dinner.
We were even able to take our drinks up to the room which was convenient.

Only criticism would be the seats have seen better days and definitely need a upgrade from the 80's & the bar area was constantly laden with returned empty glasses which made it feel a bit "pub like", probably not the look an upmarket hotel bar wants to project.

Staff were super friendly and attentive.

The Atrium Lounge looks out over Torrens, and is beautiful. We bought the lunchtime special which had great variety to choose from and the 10 of us chose quite a variety of lunches and we enjoyed the meal immensely. The staff were lovely. All In all a very enjoyable way to spend a couple of hours.

Cocktails were delicious. Staff didn't communicate well enough, one came chasing us saying we didn't pay the bill, even though we had charged it to the room.

Good selection of Wine and Whisky, surprisingly quiet, considering it was one of the best “Crab Linguine’s” I've ever tasted. As one Chef to another. Compliments.

The food, though limited in selection (one fish, one steak, one vegetarian option) was very good.

The service, however, was a disaster. For a seemingly top notch restaurant, the service was definitely lacking. For example, don't deliver a bottle of wine without pouring a glass, and don't bring half the food and then come back to check on the rest of the order (especially with a limited selection!).

The carpaccio was well delivered with Parmesan cheese and rocket.

A good place to people watch and avoid the crowds as they leave the oval

Drinks are good, but really let down by the service, grumpy people, slow, been 3 times (benefit of the doubt) same every time.

Really nice, friendly and welcoming staff. Doesn't matter if you are staying at the Intercontinental or not. Didnt get all our drink orders correctly, but they all tasted great and at fair prices. Thank you!

A secret spot for lunch in the CBD with any main and a glass of wine for $25 at lunch.
Courteous and attentive service, steak that melts in your mouth and delicious sides makes for a perfect break during the day. Would come back for this value

Live music too loud. Forgot this happens regularly. Took our group of 8 elsewhere. Get on top of this then we come back.
