The 5 Spice Indian Cuisine

It's Not Indian food at all. Overpriced, as they don't have any Indian restaurants nearby. I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone

Delicious quality food with lots of flavour and variety for everyone. We have dinned in and had take away delivered and both experiences were great. Exceptional customer service, the staff are super friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend 5 spice to all.

I have been eating at 5 spice for a very long time. The staff are lovely and friendly and the food is amazing. I always order the butter chicken and garlic naan. Whatever they do to that butter chicken sauce is amazing because it is the best I have ever had in my life.

Such a great place! The service was incredible and the food came out really fast and was really good. This was my first time here and I will definitely be back and recommend this place to others

Absolutely loved it, fairly priced food and what you get is absolutely gold. Cheap drinks is where it’s at, the service is amazing also! Such a cute little restaurant, will absolutely be back for dining and for takeaway.

Absolutely love five spices curry's, smells delicious every time I pass or go in and tastes just as it smells.
My family has been enjoying it for years and hopefully many more to come.

We love 5 Spice! Always delicious food! Super reliable for takeaway orders. We've tried the few Indian restuarants in the Hills and 5 Spice are the best for sure. Always so friendly in the restaurant too:) We'll keep coming back for sure

Food was really good but the staff seemed very stressed & out of their depth tonight, I had to wait 30 minutes longer for my order than quoted & another customer had been waiting nearly 2 hours before the staff discovered his order had been in the delivery bag for more than an hour. On such a busy night more staff needed to be rostered on.

Delicious food and very friendly staff. Brought back memories of good food and experiences when we lived as expats in New Delhi.

Quite expensive and small amounts of meat compared to others. But the food is amazing in taste.

First time buying a meal at 5 Spice since moving to Mount Barker.
We both enjoyed our mains, good servings. We definitely will be going back to the restaurant.

Great curries. I had beef vindaloo rated as a 2 out 3 chilli heat. I love hot, hot food but boy, this was hot. Garlic naan nice, rice beautiful, wine selection was OK (not BYO) with reasonable prices. If I lived locally I would most certainly frequent this restaurant for a fair dinkum Indian curry. I enjoyed it.

Terrible food, I know that small businesses are doing it tough but there is no excuse
I had to drain the lamb curry of about half a cup of oil, it had no taste, small amount of meat and more like a western casserole than Indian.
The roti and nan bread were the same and very chewy. The chicken meat had a lot of fat and once again no flavor. Really disappointed

Service terrible. Ordered food last night. Said it would take 40mins, took 1hr 20. When it arrived it was cold and there was an item missing (which has happened before). When you call to let them know, they say too busy to deliver what they missed and can't do refund over the phone. Shonky practices - don't use them.

I have driven past this place on many occasions since moving near Mt Barker and have always internationalised about trying the food here. I am so glad I finally did tonight. I had the chicken vindaloo, my partner the Rogan Josh. So much flavour, great serving sizes, beast Indian food I've eaten since moving to SA 15 years ago. Will definitely be back for more, thank you.

Tasty good food.second best place for Indian in Mount Barker. Garlic naan there is the best.
