Thai Spice Restaurant

Terrible! There were items missing from our order and although they accepted responsibility for their mistake, instead of delivering our missing food, they told me there was nothing that could do and to sort it out with Uber eats. Food was also sub standard.

The food is tasty but the place looks like it has never been cleaned. The toilet was so layered with urine and grime my shoes were still sticky when I got home. With such little care for hygiene it peaked my concern for food quality control. In fact, today I spent my day over a toilet with food poisoning. It is disappointing, as they have been a go to for me whenever everything else is closed. The standard has dropped too low for me to eat here again. Food poisoning sucks.

This place was a huge disappointment. The ambiance and decor, poor, the service was tardy. I placed our order, beginning with drinks. Spirits and mixers, soft drink and juice. After I paid, the waiter came to tell me, they were out of juice in addition to spring water. We ordered enough for 4 people.
Many takeaway meals were collected whilst we waited and waited. Some time after the spring rolls arrived (grossly over cooked with barely enough chilli sauce for one & we had 4.) I went to ask where our drinks were. He’d forgotten. When they finally arrived, the bourbon and coke was a large tumbler of coke with bourbon. I imagine the waiter had no idea how to mix a drink.
We had to ask for table water as none was offered.
The rice, also to share was little more than enough for 2 & overcooked. The remaining dishes were also small in size.
The toilets were not very clean, especially around where walls met floors.
We won’t be back.

Enjoyed dining in more than their takeaway, free corkage! It was a great, surprising dining in experience.

This is a hidden gem! Cannot recommend this place enough. Delicious food, close to the beach, and such friendly and accommodating service. Going to make it my regular.

The BEST restaurant i have ever eaten at. The Thai fried rice is amazing, huge generous serving sizes, always so quiet here so it’s very fast service. Cheap prices, friendly staff. I love it here! 100% recommend

I had a horrible experience here tonight with my family. From the layout, service attitude to the food, it is the worst restaurant I've been to in Australia. Feel like you're at a food street, not in a restaurant. Even after eating, the waiter refused to clear the table. New customers also do not bring menus and plates, cutlery.
I will never be back! 0 star!

The food is great but the restaurant is filthy. Needs a good clean. Thankfully I do takeaway as I could not eat in.

I have ordered takeaway twice from and both times the food has been good. The food smelled great and meat was slightly overcooked. The service was adequate and the waiter super friendly. It was good Thai food and don't think it blew my mind compared to so many other Thai restaurants I have been to. I have had authentic Thai green curries before, including cooking it myself from scratch, to be honest the one I ordered from here was below average. I have never had one with celery in it and it was just not right. Not sure if I will go back again unless it is the only thing open and I don't have time to cook.

Best Food, always a winner. Generous serves with plenty of meat and not just onion and sauce. Lovely family business, definitely give them a try you won't regret it.

Learn salad was not authentic (never had larb with carrots before.and no mint!)
Chicken curry was ok.

Really good, loved the stir fry, sauce was very good too, also loved the blackfriars kid sitting in the corner!

Terrible customer service. Never faced anything like it. The restaurant manager was definitely not interested in keeping us as customers. A simple issue was a missing item in a delivery bag. The food is of a decent quality, but we’ll never be back.

Came here a few times - mainly due to convenience of the location but I think they could do with improving the place. The toilets were dusty and dirty. The place looks like something from the 80s and a bit grimy. Prices were okay though.

This place as been open since I can remember, they have never changed the standard of the food and have never changed the prices. Also highly recommend this restraint on one of the delivery apps

The worst Thai fried rice of my life, so greasy, no veggies, very little protein and it’s not Thai at all. Very very poor quality food. It’s simply low quality rice fried in oil and soy sauce. Save yourself from this poor quality food.

A favorite for many years, food is amazing!
My favorite dish is the crispy beef - absolutely delicious!

The food here absolutely delicious and highly recommend. The best things on the menu are the thai spiced prawns and the sizzling steak
