37Both dishes we had were delicious. The beef and Guinness pie however was quite small and the filo pastry on the top was more like a biscuit than pastry. Overall though the rest of the meal was good enough to overcome these small issues.
Great staff, atmosphere, with breakfast and coffee just as good.
A lot of the customers were local and known by staff which is a good indication that it is the place to be
Good choice of food and drinks. The salt and pepper squid was very nice. It was a bit of a long wait for the food but otherwise a lovely place with quite a lot of tables both inside and outside.
One of our regular haunts. The staff are friendly and the food is priced well for a lunch time meal. They have a good selection. The coffee is nice and they have a good selection of munchies to have with your coffee. Recommend.
This is a great place to go for a coffee or lunch, the food is good, great coffee and very friendly staff. Their monthly theme nights are a lot of fun.
Went in as they were cleaning up before closing. Very happy to serve us with great coffee, delicious cookies and a bread and butter pudding. We'll go back
Great coffee and sticky date pudding sitting outside on a beautiful sunny day. What more could you want for a Covid19 outing.
Gorgeous homestyle cafe, making a real variety of delicious things. Definitely try the arrancini balls and the breakfast bruschetta. Oh and if the roasted cauliflower soup happens to appear on the specials boar, snap it up.
We really enjoyed our lunch at Terre Cafe today. We shared a platter of crumbed prawns, salt & pepper squid (very tender), crumbed camembert and grilled chicken with sauces. This was of high quality and we finished with 2 of the delicious desserts of the day. The place was not frantic busy, so very enjoyable for us.
They also have paintings for sale and a free book exchange. I am sure we will be back, thank you!
Really enjoyed going to the Cafe during the day of the TDU there was a great atmosphere and the boy at the counter greeted me with a smile, overall this place was very quick at serving and had very friendly staff I defenitly recommend going to the Terre cafe:)
Today was the second time we have walked in as a group of 5 and the boy working didn’t even welcome us, there was 3 people waiting for coffees but no reason why he couldn’t acknowledge us. We waited 15 minutes standing right by the counter to order, the boy finally said he was taking some coffees to a customer and would be right back to take our order but he didn’t once he came back. We ended up leaving, with one person saying “bye, this is the second time we have walked out of here” to which the boy simply responded with “okay, bye”.
We won’t be back.
Enjoyed a nice lunch today, friendly staff, food was delicious and delivered promptly even though the cafe was busy. A great atmosphere will be back and definitely recommend to visit if you are looking to dine in Willunga.
Friendly, helpful staff with a local 'homemade feel' menu, along with local artist, artwork and photography on display and for sale. Great place for a late lunch.
What a find! My wife and I stumbled on this little gem whilst on holidays. We both commemted afterwards that the coffee was amazing. I think it would be some of the best coffee we've ever had. Flavour was remarkably good. Large generous mugs, made piping hot as I'd asked.
Unfortunately we didnt have time for a meal but saw some delicious looking meals coming out of the kitchen. In closing, the atmosphere is cosy and so much character, and charm, only matched by the remarkably warm and engaging manner of the two owners who should be very proud of what they've created. It really is a special place.
Excellent food and service. Fresh and quality we especially loved that I had a gluten free menu to choose from. Highly recommend the gf beef burger
It's a nice and cosy place. Home style cooking. Friendly staff and good food. The pumpkin soup was delicious! And the fireplace is a nice touch.
Went there whilst on holiday with my two children and Mum. The kids pancakes were great but when the two adult meals arrived, both with scrambled eggs, our meals were stone cold. When I raised with the waitress she politely took them both away but returned very quickly with the exact same meals, evident by toast I had eaten one bite out of. They had obviously microwaved the whole plate. Both plates of scrambled eggs and bacon were still cold, the eggs tough and rubbery. Even when the plates were first given to us the scrambled eggs looked dry so I suspect they had been Pre-made. When paying we were not asked how our meals were so I politely again raised what had happened. There was no apology or offer of discount/refund with the waitress thanking me for the feedback. We will not be back nor will my parents who live not too far away. Bad service and two out of four bad meals.
