Terra & Sol

Expensive for what it is. Ordered the Smashed Avo toast. A thin scraping of avocado and the toast was more like bread. Definitely expected more for $23. Also our drinks didn’t come until after we’d finished our meal.

I ordered chicken schnitzel and Thai beef salad, but both were disappointing. The chicken schnitzel had a great crumb, but it was WAY overcooked and was like a cracker. The Thai beef salad lacked the salty, sweet, tangy flavours. The sauce was just overly bitter. Terrible. On a positive note, the chips were excellent.

I attended a friend's Bridal Shower in the function room over the weekend and it was incredible. The function room itself is so beautiful with lots of natural lighting and beautiful indoor lighting. The bruschetta, mushroom arancini and margaritas were definitely a highlight! Jordan truly went above and beyond for all our needs and was so helpful and friendly. Thank you for everything! I can't wait to come back

I went to Terra & Sol for a bite to eat yesterday afternoon after hearing about their ability to cater to people who are Coeliac & boy, it did not disappoint! The food was amazing, as was the service. The owner Rachel was extremely accomodating regarding a booking matter & so lovely and understanding; offering some welcome support given her own experiences with Coeliac disease. I have only recently been diagnosed with Coeliac so eating out has been daunting & something I am learning to navigate. At Terra & Sol, however, I felt very at ease knowing all of the staff understood my dietary restrictions and took them seriously. It was the first time I have eaten out since being diagnosed that I have wholeheartedly enjoyed the experience, from the stress free ordering, to the amazing tasting food, to walking away symptom free. I would and will recommend Terra & Sol to anyone & everyone - Coeliac or not!

My partner and I are always made to feel so welcome when we come in to Terra and Sol for coffee or breakfast, which is quite often. We especially love the smashed avocado breakfast - good sized servings and beautifully presented. The coffee is consistently good, the best in Glenelg. We have also enjoyed dinner at Terra and Sol on two occasions and the food was fresh and delicious. A good selection of wine and cocktails as well. Awesome staff……. Especially Jordie! Keep up the good work!

We love this restaurant…. Awesome food, the BEST coffee, and the BEST staff in town. We try to get our coffee fix most days at this busy and welcome spot as not only is the coffee and food great, it has such a great atmosphere and vibe. Jordie is super awesome and always looks after us, as well as Louisa, Brodie, Billie, Alissa, Brook and all the other staff. Do yourself a favour and get down there.

We had a family get together at Terra and Sol last weekend in the beautiful function room. The food and service was amazing. Martha, the events coordinator was great, taking care of us and making you feel relaxed. We highly recommend, very happy - we will be back!

We were with a big group celebrating a friend's birthday at the back bar. It was absolutely great. Great staff, great food and excellent drinks! I can't recommend enough. Well done guys!

The service here was absolutely phenomenal. Our waiter Amelie was incredible, deserves a raise for her hard work. She went beyond and above to ensure we had the perfect night!

10/10 recommend this place, the vibes are always great no matter if you come for breakfast or just want a few drinks to end the night. The food and coffee always hits the spot. The aesthetic inside also makes it an enjoyable place to sit down with some mates. Will be coming back!

Service was great and the vibes even better. Had the salmon and it was cooked to perfection. It was both refreshing and comforting and also thoroughly enjoyed the kick of spice from the surrounding dressing. If you’re looking for a night with good food and even better drinks and an atmosphere of good energy i’d highly recommend!

The service was excellent, the barramundi was delicious and sides were excellent. A perfect Ambleside coral gin martini. Two couples out for dinner and we were all extremely satisfied.

Such a cute cafe with lovely staff. They have a great meal and a bunch of vegan options on the menu. I had their avocado toast and it was delish!

I want to love this place, as a Glenelg local and a hospo worker this place looks like a dream. But the service is so underwhelming. We made a reservation for dinner online at 8pm as that was all that was available at 7pm when we booked, we tried to call to confirm kitchen times but nobody answered. When we arrived a staff member greeted us very casually, we told him we had a reservation and he told us he needed to clean a table for us even though we had a reservation. We sat for 15 minutes waiting for water or a food menu, when the server came back we asked him for food menus and water and he was like nah the kitchens closed. No apologies at all or explanations. This is information that would have been useful at time of reservation or when we arrived so we could get a reservation somewhere else for dinner. I guess a instagram aesthetic can only get you so far
