Tennyson Centre Day Hospital

What a wonderful experience at this hospital! The nurses were so friendly and caring I was at complete ease the whole time. Special shout out to Mel and the other nurse looking after me once I came too (sorry I couldn't remember her name)
I was pretty nervous when I arrived at the hospital but the kiwi nurse (forgot her name too) really made me feel so comfortable and we had lots of laughs thank you for my special pink hat.
And to the evening nurses for surprising me with fireworks to see me out

What a lovely friendly hospital this is. I’m an anxious patient and everyone made me feel as calm as possible. Thank you to Cathy, Marie, the very lovely Helen, Sue and Gretel for taking such good care of me.
If I have one criticism, it is when the nurses come out to the waiting room to collect the patient, it would be better for all concerned not to discuss the patients details in front of everyone who is waiting.
Overall a great experience… considering

Unfortunately car parking is very limited although they have many car parking spaces, as it a very busy medical centre. The coffee shop makes the best coffee, well worth dropping in for a cupper.

A very nice, modern and clean day hospital facility with lovely professional staff. I attended Tennyson for removal of all 4 wisdom teeth and felt incredibly well looked after both pre and post operatively by all of the nursing staff. I’m grateful to have had such a nice experience (especially when having such an unpleasant surgery!).
Very impressed with cleanliness as well.

Be here 3 times in the last few months. Each time the service I recieved was very caring, professional, and exactly what you need when you go in for a procedure. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff and their caring attention while I was in recovery. Keep up the good work people.

The place does not have enough parking. My mum had chest injury for which I took her to do an xray there. There was not one single parking at the hospital premises, neither any around the street next to it. I had to park two blocks away and with that severe pain my 70 years old mum had to walk to the hospital. Why open such a big hospital with different care facility branches if you dont have enough space to accommodate your patients. Disgusting. Learnt my lesson, next time I will book an appointment somewhere else. Not coming back to this place.
